Does Janet even want to win this?

When I watch Janet I don't really see much interest or passion in her. It feels like she's singing because she's gotten this far and she has to.

I wouldn't be surprised that if she does go tomorrow, part of her will be a little relieved. X Factor and her just did not go.

It is said that the eyes are the window to your soul. Her eyes show nothing. No emotion at all. I'm wondering if her heart is in it to be honest with you.

Obviously she wants to win, she wouldn't still be in the competition if she didn't.

She needs to try much much harder if she wants to win...oh and try to remember lyrics to a song is also a good thing to do.

I'm a fan and I wonder at times. However the decision is hers so I will support that decision which ever way it goes.

That's what will be getting her the votes.

It worked for Leon Jackson, after all.

She know she's nowhere near as good as the other acts, so what I see is some guilt in her face, as well as fear. She's only a young girl....though that doesn't mean she should sail through to the final.

If she didn't care, why would she turn up at Omagh midweek to be greeted by thousands of people?

She seems totally apathetic. Her life ambition is probably to become a housewife.

I hate to think of the reaction on here from some of the extremer posters if she were to win.

Janet just wants to sing - she probably never expected the hype, the nastiness and being given bad slots every week by the producers. It would be enough to undermine anyone's confidence!

sorry but she seems like a plank of wood to me, there's just no emotion at all and her voice is very dull and performances are boring

She's a mystery to me; true she did turn up at Omagh stating that she didn't like Christmas anyway (always seems odd to me when people don't like Christmas!) with no real joy or energy about it. Then when she got the first song wrong, said to Dermot 'well theres nothing I can do about it' in a bit of an attitude. I have enjoyed a few of her songs, but she comes over as such an odd-ball. Nothing wrong with that per se, but to me this was the wrong route for her and she looks like that realisation has dawned on her bigtime, she looks uncomfortable and that she has one eye on the exit door!

Who can tell? She only has one expression... blank! And she only ever moans when she opens her gob!

She's still got a lot of fight left in her yet

She's ready for the finals.

Why do I find that trollishly funny.

i do notice that when Dermot is speaking to them backstage we see her standing there , abit pale faced and looking into space, thinking of what to say, then she just mumbles are Irish chat and tries to crack a smile ..maybe you can notice tonight when that happens

I think she came on the X factor for exposure , which she wouldnt have got otherwise. She has that now, and has her own fanbase who like her voice/style. I don't think she would mind being voted off at this stage, it looks like her hearts not in it anymore IMO.

Yep true, it doesn't matter about the haters in a show like this. Just look at Cher Lloyd for example..

She's just a shy and introverted person.

And to the OP - Janet must surely want to win, otherwise she wouldn't still be in the competition.
