Which is exactly why I believe technically Janet is an artist, she has more potential than Cher did

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO TALKS SENSE. Janet isnt enjoying it at all. If you ask me she wants out but, of course, she cant as she signed a contract

Be honest, in a year (2 tops) nobody will remember her name.

Nonetheless she's still an artist, and a somewhat popular one. From the success of her Album so far, she could develop well.

Two weeks ago I'm pretty sure that both she and Craig wanted out and they had to be persuaded to stay. (Don't think I imagined that.)

Anyway she's only just turned seventeen and looks miserable.
Perhaps she is just not fitting in well with the other wannabees in the house and simply wants to go home.

I feel for her.

Most XF finalists do well with their first album and of course it doesn't hurt that she had Will.I.Am backing her, but she's really not special enough to go any further imho.

I think its tough too.

It can't be easy knowing you are not wanted as a winner by Syco/the producers or even by your own mentor, given early slots every week (it really has become a JOKE!), being criticised as boring by Gary Barlow, stylised to a ridiculous level, being forced to do music that isn't your style

It would be tough for anyone to deal with that - let alone a 16/17 year old girl.

The music business is tough. She must know that. Its just that she clearly cant cope with the pressure-who can blame her it must be awful. Noone forced her to enter the competition. She must have known the format of the show???
She just isnt good enough as a performer. Give her a few years to get confident then maybe it will be different but right now she needs to go home and out of the limelight,

100% agree.

I never understand it when they go on about all this "one trick pony" crap.
Every single artist I can ever think of has always released the same knid of music.
Take a band like Status Quo, they've been selling out stadiums for over 40 years with rock music. Nobody calls them OTP. What about the Pet shop boys. They've always made pop/damce type music. Does anyone say look guys, don't you think its about time you released a heavy metal song.

If Janet does get signed up she should stick to what she likes and not be told by record companies to sing this way or that way or add a dance beat, she shouldn't be told what to wear in her videos and how to wear it simply because "that's what teenagers like" or that's what sells. If people don't like it go and buy something else.

She will never be a pop princess that can be packaged, she is too independent. Mmmbop was ridiculous when she is basically in Indie music lover. She needs to grow, let her voice develop and do it her way.

I feel very sorry for Janet, she seems to have been bigged up to get knocked down, and she is not boring, not for me.

Watching her last night I wanted to cry, she looked ill, and that song, please tell me she did not choose to sing something so dreadful, it was not even her style of music.

This tracker thingy that someone has put on here and says has only been wrong once, has Janet and Misha as bottom two, if that is the case then Janet is toast, for me the person who has been there twice already should go but that will not happen will it?

I think it is a sorry state of affairs when a production team does all in their power to undermine someone and make them look stupid, and they should be ashamed of themselves, this girl is only just 17, and they seem to have destroyed her spirit.

For me it should be about all of them having a level playing field, singing songs that actually suit them and show off their best abilities, instead of giving them some dire crap songs to sing. It is also SO noticeable where Janet has sung each week, that speaks volumes, maybe the producers do not think anyone notices but a lot of us do.

I thought that choice was her taking the p*** out of it and out of Gary too....Especially when she is a Red Hot Chillie Peppers fan.

How sad. I liked Janet a lot. I hope she does well after. I don't think I'll stick with it if it's just Murios, Lickle Mix and Amebia.

The best artists out there did not get were they are by becoming hotheads and refusing to listen to those around them .

Even the likes of Matt Cardle was smart enough to wear yellow pants to get where he is now. ,

....Thats why its called whatever it takes to get there...something this little girl does not understand.

I think whichever act goes home tonight will be pleased they've got so far, try to be happy about it and look to their future.
