She was 19 when she auditioned for Popstars. I think if she entered Xfactor she'd get to the final 3/4 at least! And probably have a really successful career post X-factor as well

Yes, I think she would have got knocked out during Bootcamp. I feel her looks would have got her through to the auditions in front of the judges.

If she was lucky she might have made it past the producer's audition rounds based on her looks...

Difference is - and I can't believe I'm going to say this - Cher can sing pretty well, has personality and more versatility than Cheryl considering Cheryl can barely string a few notes together. You do realise X Factor requires contestants to sing live every week, don't you?!

I do like Cheryl, but I think she was lucky when she auditioned. The whole idea of these sort of talent shows had only just started to take off and she had the bonus of having Pete Waterman on the audition panel, who clearly fancied her. He couldn't take his eyes off her as soon as she walked in! Her voice isn't particularly special but she is very pretty.

I agree with others who say Bootcamp. If by some chance she got through to the live shows, she'd be found out pretty quickly.
During PSTR, most of the girls live vocals were absolutely dire each week and she was one of the weakest

I reckon she'd probably be out at bootcamp, or possibly put in a group with stronger singers, based on her looks.

No WAY would she make it to the finals, or even judges house, as a soloist.
