Lana has been at it again, facing up to her haters on facebook and youtube although it seems like her record company keep deleting her comments, lol. I love her feistyness!

Forgot to say, don't forget she's on Johnathan Ross tonight. Will be a big test of what the general public think of her, I reckon, as I can't imagine the vast majority of Wossy's Saturday night tv audience will be over familiar with her work, lol. Current Amazon UK position:
Amazon Bestsellers Rank: 12 in Music (See Top 100 in Music) |

must check out her performance tomorrow...i have it on record this week for Lana only really.
But i think despite poor/average show...millions are watching and she has raised the profile more. Personally i found the Jools eprformance my fave out of all i have seen, something so electric about it and dark...i lvoe that dark emotive feel. So yeah i hope she continues to grow as a performer really I think she will definitely

Not her best performance tonight, certainly. She's still massively nervous on TV, which I suppose is understandable given her inexperience in such an environment but she needs to address that. She was very nervous on Jools but IMO gave a better performance. Having said that, I would still rather see an 'unenhanced' vocal like this than the 'mumbling along to a vocal backing track' we see so often these days.

Yeah i think Off To The Races is my fave of hers to date...love them all to different degrees definitely!
Yeah i cannot wait for this album! I have to agree - Off To The Races is now my favourite track that I've heard off the album so far. It takes a few listens because there's so much going on in the song and you appreciate the incredible vocal more when you can read the lyrics as she is singing them. |

i would imagine she would be excellent at festivals too when they come around
![]() Totally disagree - she would be awful at festivals (certainly not an Indie or rock festival anyway). She doesn't exactly exude energy in her songs or when performing. She's more of a cabaret artist (or at intimate venues).Don't think she has a very powerful voice either which helps when performing to large (or largish) live audiences. |

So true it also really shows her whole hip-hop influenced side and the edge rather than the melancholic balladeer with which she was becoming known

I agree. It's clear from some of the lower key/non televised live performances on youtube she has an amazing live voice but I do think it's a confidence issue. But she has to overcome that somehow and I suppose it will come with more experience. Every performer gets nervous, it's just a matter of not showing it or letting it affect your performance. I suppose in this regard Adele is the one to learn from - terrible stage fright but amazing performances.

I think did well on JR. Remember Lady Gaga was very nervous her first time on that show too yet look at her now.
