I like Girls and National anthem. Really good songs. I will likely go for the deluxe edition as Lolita is on there and I have enjoyed listening to that for a few months now.

So opinions on the snippets of National Anthem and TIWMUG that have been released? I way prefer the demo version of TIWMUG
I don't think it needed to be slowed down and sung in a lower register. I liked the playfulness of the demo. Sounds more like a goth version now but I might change my mind again once I hear the full version.

do you have a link or anything to the demo? i haven't heard it! but a lot of people are saying it shouldn't have been changed, and id just like to hear it so i can make my own judgement

It's from hipsterunoff, say no more. The accusation is absolutely stupid tbh. Whilst there is no such as original anymore (and, no, there really isn't) Carles is going to have to come up with something much more convincing than this one.
Is LDR the most internet-criticised artist around at the moment? Probably, but to be fair she gave them plenty of ammunition on SNL so she needs to up her game considerably on Letterman and ellen. Going to be interesting.
She should strip back the vocals and cut out the acrobatics and just deliver the songs simply and people will fall in love with her. She's going for too much at the moment, which is probably to help her sing through the nerves but she should embrace the nerves, it makes you want to just run up and give her a hug!

No vocal embellishments/changing the melody/etc.. for Ellen and Letterman, just a very stripped back performance.
So much pressure on her to deliver now though that I fear she will be more nervous than ever
