An amazing live rendition of new song China Doll/Without You (some dispute as to it's official title). This can be cranked up to 1080p is you have the graphics capability! No backing singers, remember...what a voice!!

'Fraid not - I reckon she knows that will be the reaction of many so she's keeping us guessing

Oh well it's going to be a Fearne filled morning.

I honestly don't ever remember such anticipation for song from such a new artist, her impact has been amazing.

An absolutely amazing song! I think the album *could* be brilliant.

Born to Die single out on the 23rd Jan...album 30th Jan just confirmed by Fearne!

Wow I love it, it was effing amazing. My only gripe is that when she performs it live she sings "Let me f*ck you hard in the pouring rain" which has been changed to Kiss...I hope on the album it uses the live lyrics...although its nothing major!

Until we get a better/offical version here's the radio rip of the song for those who missed it:

Yes, that was the sanitized version and I'm sure the filthy version will be on the album, lol. This song is just fantastic. Epic.

How do these people get stuff up so quick??

I thought so, it makes sense because the radio would have to edit any profanities. I love it, its so epic sounding!

Another bad review.

Tinged with sadness about the inevitability of her future success as the money men have decided she's it so it doesn't matter if she's good or not. Same mob are behind Adele.
PR rules in the music industry now.
Makes the X factor look as if it's brimming over with "natural" talent by comparison.

I love Born To Die!!! its like VIdeo games was subdued and powerful in minimalism...Born To Die has a kind asipritual and steady feel...i love it!

The way she sings deep and then a higher tone....its very very old skool she IS a blend of Stevie Nicks/Nancy SInatra....its so off the wall.

I think after Janelle Monae....she is my second contemporary music Stateside favorite!!!

Blue Jeans is immense too.

And that album cover...if it is...looks stunning! 2012....CMOOON, after Madonnas THIS album will be the one i will be most excited about....well it will be my first album by a new artist next year i know that WOOO!!!

Cannot wait for the video now!

A pretty decent review of Lana's Toronto gig, albeit with some reservations about her current stagecraft, which I would probably agree with at the moment. But the downside of Video Games becoming so huge so fast is that the learning she would have done under the radar is now being done under the glare of massive attention, press and public alike. I'm sure the stagecraft will improve in time.

Del Rey comes off a bit plastic, if not wooden at times, and hasn’t yet developed much of a stage presence outside of few sultry looks. But there’s something remarkable about her songs. Her music is steeped in heartache, and there’s a raw insecurity that haunts her lyrics. And her excellent pop melodies are lifted by an amazing vocal range. On You Can Be the Boss, there’s even a bit of hip-hop influence, with Del Rey citing Biggie Smalls as much as Leonard Cohen as a musical influence.

Do you lot still get paid ( I know the really young kids get toys for promoting crap on forums) when it's really obvious that you're just posting rubbish to keep bumping up this thread.

From the Youtube videos she is really growing as a performer, compare her UK gigs with the Toronto one. she's learning fast so I totally have faith in her!

to be fair, it wasn't so much a review, as a character assassination.

i thought any pop star worth their salt was supposed to have a bit of an air of mystery or artifice?

anyway, two songs in, and they're both stunning.

I rememebr loads of artists who are masive today who have spoken in interviews that when they started out people slammed them despite fanbases early on.

So it doesnt matter as every interesting performer or artist faces criticism....fact of life...for whatever reason...thats why Lana intrigues me so very much!

She is very interesting and ehr sonvs to date that i have heard, Video games, Blue Jeans and Born To Die...they are sublime...nuff said
