Dubbed applause?

Does anyone else think that some of the applause on the Sunday night show is dubbed? There are times when I hear rapturous applause and cheering (after a Tesspit interview for example) and yet the audience in the background are not applauding that much or sometimes even at all.

Am I imagining this?

... the Sunday Show is filmed out of order and all glued together in the editing room after ... so hardly surprising that sometimes the applause doesn't match the images ...

Then the editors should pay greater attention to what's actually going on in the background before sticking great wodges of rapturous applause over footage that doesn't match!!

Sorry but it's been driving me crazy for weeks!!

... it's a bit of a balancing act between keeping a show exactly to time, and linking different segments together without the lighting or applause levels suddenly changing and jarring us out of the moment ... it's easy enough to switch from one camera view to another, but you can't just switch the sound like that as it would be unbelievably jarring, more like channel hopping than watching a single TV show ...
