Hi guys,

Thought it would be fun to gauge people's perspective on the remaining contestants and pro partners. Realise there are 12 so it's quite a task, but thought it would be fun!

Chelsee - sweet girl, unaware of her natural ability to dance, the most natural dancer of the celebrities - wish she would express her love of the show and appreciation for pasha more, but perhaps that wil come with time.

Pasha - my favourite pro dancer. the perfect celeb partner as he can get the best out of his partner and also create fantastic choreography with a lot of basic content, seems like a really sweet guy, would like to see him with his shirt off/open more often

Robbie - liked him a lot at the beginning.. now 100% tired of him, he is not talented enough to still be in the competition, but do like his attitude to the competition.

Ola - great choregraphy to disguise her partner's limitations, amazing body, not my favourite female pro though

Holly - was my favourite at the start but got frustrated that she didn't seem to want to work hard at it and take advantage of this great opportunity to dance, has improved a lot in recent weeks and seems to have a better work ethic, also the only celeb to pull off the "comedy vts" - love her sense of humour and personality in general

Artem - gone off him a bit this year. think it took him a while to adjust to a different/less talented celeb, has come up with some fantastic choreography this year, although wish he put in a bit more of the dance content sometimes.

Harry - lovely lovely boy, very polite and I like that he is respectful to his partner in real life, never being over friendly to aliona, i think they have a really great no nonsence have fun partnership, he is a great dancer too shame he isn't as strong in some of the latin though

Aliona - grown on me this year, come up with some of my favourite routines

Jason - gone from hating him to quite liking him, like his work ethic although agree wth miranda hart on itt that sometimes you see him trying hard on the dance floor and it feels a bit awkward, great partnership with kristina

Kristina - amazing choreography and you can see how much she wants to win!

Alex - really started to like her in recent weeks, definitely improved greatly but stil one of the weakest dancers left in the competition, I like her despite James which is pretty impressive considering how much i dislike james!

James - quite delusional, always has to have the last word and be the centre of attention, very fake - this is how he appears to me anyway..

And special mention to lovely Brendan and Robin...lovely dancers, Brendan has especially impressed me this year!

Robbie and Ola like "Twins" with Danny Devito and Arnie (and a comedy act too)

Jason and Kristina hungry for it (naughty naughty ....the glitterball that is ) But I don't think we should knock them for that.

Alex and James most improved couple. The J word springs to mind.

Harry and Aliona Nice couple but not for me (do like Aliona though)

Holly and Artem love Holly's laid back attitude, but not a fan of their partnership.

Chelsee and Pasha. Remember the song "Like sister and brother, we'll wave to each other, we don't want all the world to know, that we are really lovers......." Not too sure about the lovers bit, but they are like sister and brother. To quote Brucie "They're my favourites"

Robbie & Ola - Time to go now I reckon

Jason & Kristina - He still my favourite and their dances are really good

Alex and James - meh

Harry & Aliona - That quickstep was awesome - I love Aliona but not her choreography and Harry's okay I guess - a good dancer though

Holly & Artem - Don't understand why they're in the bottom two - they're really good and Holly improved so much this week

Chelsee and Pasha - She needs to let go a bit more and Pasha swoon

Alex: The prisoner of Jordkaban

Harry: Yes ma'am, I can boogie...ba-dum tish!

Robbie & Ola - When the waitress is hotter than your food, it's time to leave the restaurant.

Jason & Kristina - When the food is tougher than the table, it's time to leave the restaurant.

Alex and James - Somewhere in Daytime TV Heaven, the head of Fancy Piece Women is being sent a stern letter from HR about their behaviour.

Harry & Aliona - Two sides of the same coin - which presumably has Aliona's face on it.

Holly & Artem - How estate agents must feel when faced with a house painted only in beige with curtains designed to look like the previous owners (in every room)

Chelsee and Pasha - The brother from one family and the sister from another planet.

Alex - Nice person, improved but not as strong on emotionally outgoing dances
James - Safe choreographer, lacks wow factor, sometimes bad attitude

Chelsee - Good dancer, seems a bit moany at times, needs to use her acting skills more
Pasha - Good intro to the pro team, solid choreographer, seems to work well w/partner

Robbie - Like Russell, lacks steps/content.. Unlike Russell, lacks knee injury.
Ola - Seems to have given up trying to teach Robbie proper dance

Aliona - Has a slant on performance over content; public pleaser over judge pleaser.
Harry - Doesn't look like he enjoys dance, just the act of competing.

Holly - OK dancer, probably most likeable personality
Artem - Needs to adjust his routines when his partner isn't keeping up

Kristina - Very competitive, trying very hard.
Jason - Good work ethic and reasonable dancer, but like Harry seems to be more about competing than dance

That's an interesting perspective on harry and jason, i think you may be right re. more about the competition than the dancing

Chelsee - think she could be the best ever if she kicked it up a notch

Pasha - can't be objective, he totally makes my biscuits tingle

Robbie - couldn't bear him before strictly, can't bear him now

Ola - costumes get skimpier as dance partners fail to deliver

Holly - looks like she just wants to sit down and toke on a doobie

Artem - love his Russian over the top-ness

Alex - ungainly, can't get over the accent, sorry

James - how come we lose Waite, Cutler and Wiggy and yet have to keep this tool?

Jason - if you chopped his head off he'd be great

Kristina - has a crazed, wild-eyed look this year - I think Jason is probably a challenging person to spend a lot of time with

Aliona - batshit, I like her

Harry - literally the dullest person on television
johnnyutah
27-11-2011
Robbie & Ola - The only entertainment left on the show

Jason & Kristina - Jason works hard but overall they are bland

Alex and James - Dreadful, wooden and over-marked

Harry & Aliona - Quickstep was brilliant but his fast Latin is not good enough

Holly & Artem - Think they are excellent but Kartem has killed Holly's chances - stupid pairing

Chelsee and Pasha - Over-scored in recent weeks, Chelsee is still rough around the edges

Conclusion - would like to see Robbie and Ola win for their entertainment value, and Robbie's improvement. He is being brutally under-scored still, esp by Craig
*Topaz*

Robbie - Gives it his best shot and is entertaining.

Ola - Naughty but nice

James - Rebel without a cause

Alex - Nice but dull

Aliona - Red dare devil

Harry - Charming - has rhythm and finally in the past few weeks a good dancer has emerged.

Kristina - Blonde ambition

Jason - Intense and driven - good dancer but I wish he would lighten up.

Chelsee - Perhaps an example in you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Good dancer, sweet, vivacious nature - I've overcome my intial dislike and grown to like her.

Pasha - Sweet, great dancer and teacher.

Holly - Laid back - good dancer and sense of humour but needs some of Jason's fire. Perhaps they need to take a leaf out of each others book to find the right balance

Artem - Perfectionist.

Chelsee - Little ball of energy
Pasha - Doing a great job

Holly - Love that she doesn't take herself seriously
Artme - Love that he takes himself seriously

Jason - Why use 30 words when 2 or 3 will do
Kristina - Woman with a mission

Alex - Too Christine Bleakley for me
James - STFU

Robbie - Why??
Ola - The Queen of distraction choreography

Harry - Too polite
Aliona - Like Marmite

I love this thread - agree with loads of comments and even the ones I don't agree with are interesting perspectives

I suppose this should be a diff thread but the above comments made me think - should Pasha be dancing with Holly and Artem with Chelsee? I fancy Pasha could tap into Holly's understated sophistication and find choreography to bring the audience round to her charms. Artem on the other hand is not single and so Chelsee might feel less embarrassed about intensifying her moves. Just a thought. I'd also put Olla back with her hubby and let Alex and Robbie thrash it out! (James is taken with Alex and Robbie with Olla so it might help Olla and James get over their qualms).

How would you re-pair the remaining couples for best results?

Robbie. Give it a go hero.

Ola Glamour shop that has to make its own silk purses.

Jason More of everything.

Kristina Talented bridesmaid who is finally making plans.

Alex The once awkward stranger who is now getting drunk and joining the party.

James Corner boy with a gentlemanly heart.

Harry Too reserved to have tried to realise his potential.

Aliona The toughest sweet giggly person you will meet.

Holly Needs to look up intense in a dictionary but sees no reason to.

Artem A quiet philosopher who cant help being very creative.

Chelsee Happy to have just become a teenager.

Pasha Gentlemanly tourist just off the plane.

Chelsee - I am shocked how my sneering contempt on first sight of her could be turned into 'shes a sweetie', however I am getting sightly fed up with her silliness over acting love.

Pasha. - A great addition, I dont get the sexy myself, but he is sweet.

Holly - As a person I like her, but I want to put a rocket up her bum in the dancing.

Artem - Love him but he isnt partnered with the right person this year, dont know if its his fault or hers but it aint working.

Alex - A lovely girl I am sure but she isnt doing it on the dance floor for me.

James - Gone right off you chum

Robbie - Offensive, boorish and with no redeeming attributes on the dance floor.

Ola - Lost a lot of respect for her this year, she is a terrible choreographer, she and James can go now.

Jason - A lovely man with a tremendous work ethic, wish he knew how to relax.

Kristina - Fantastic dancer, fantastic choreographer, great to see her with someone talented.

Harry - Bland public school boy from a band made up of seemingly the most irritating young men in the country.

Aliona - Talented ? yes but not right for this show.

Chelsee - An absolute sweetheart. She needs to produce something truly special soon though. That Quickstep feels like a long time ago.
Pasha - Can't take my eyes off him

Jason - I sense support for him is waning but I like him more and more each week.
Kristina - Can't fault her choreography, it's been brilliant.

Robbie - Not funny, not charismatic, not a good dancer and not particuarly attractive.
Ola - Very lazy choreography this year. And I'm so over her catsuits now.

Alex - Over-rated
James - Over-sensitive

Holly - I wish her dancing was as beautiful as she is.
Artem - Trying too hard to be different with his choreography. Sometimes simple and traditional works best.

Harry - The momentum is with him now.
Aliona - Very hit and miss with her choreography. The Quicktep, though, was a big HIT.

Going for a different spin in making comparisons to previous contestants for both celebs and pros...
Harry - Ricky Whittle; great dancer, probably does have a personality but no evidence of that in VTs at all!

Aliona - Laila Rouass; looking beautiful and acting sexy just isn't enough to cut the mustard ALL the time

Chelsee - Kara Tointon; started off OK, got very good after one breakthrough dance and now a hot tip for the title.

Pasha - Tom Chambers; looks, personality, talent and a real ability to stand out from the usual with his routines. (I can see that one being controversial )

Jason - Matt Baker; not as good a dancer, but his get-it-right-at-all-costs approach is affecting his ability to inject dances with real passion where it's required.

Kristina - Claire King; a slight tendency to overdo the sex in every dance.

Holly - Phil Tufnell; one week it's great, the next week it's so sloppy you want to hit her.

Artem - Mark Ramprakash; no matter what the dance, he smoulders like mad all over the floor.

Alex - Christine Bleakley; apart from the obvious parallel, she's equally over-rated and gets by on sparkle rather than technique.

James - Craig Kelly; has reached a level of delusion over the marking that's making him uncomfortable viewing.

Robbie - Jimi Mistry; very likeable, some good work in among the dodgy routines, but not enough overall improvement or style to make any great dent in the competition.

Ola - Rachel Stevens; she might be at a high standard but it's all just got a bit samey now.

Chelsee - has had a hard time from the costume department, good dancer but surely she must be a better actress than she's showing?
Pasha - easy on the eye, wish the producers would stop giving him so many props!

Harry - a childhood crush, still very nice to look at, great dancer, hope he wins.
Aliona - gets a horrible time from people on here for no good reason, stylish dancer, love the toned-down hair!

Alex - I find her a bit awkward, decent ballroom dancer but the Latin's not great.
James - nice guy in person but being a bit too outspoken this year

Robbie - enthusiastic and hard-working, but too many football references and the hair annoys me!
Ola - absolute sweetheart, lovely in real life, doing the best with what she's got to work with as always and keeping her celeb in longer than they really should be.

Holly - bland, looks disinterested, not a fan
Artem - swoon, that is all

Jason - seems to be putting a lot of effort in, needs to fix his timing, great partnership with Kristina
Kristina - wonderful, bubbly person in real life, so glad she's got a decent celeb and a shot at the final for once!

Chelsee - Natural and fun but possibly never been that much in love
Pasha - great edition

Harry - Best male dance but pales in comparison to previous great males
Aliona - Either bizarre choreography or completely plain

Alex - Rabbit, Rabbit Rabbit
James - I like his routines but he really needs to put a sock in it

Robbie - Clearly loves it & is having fun
Ola - lovely but a bit repetitive with her routines

Holly - I don't mind her laid back personality but a bit of oomph in the dancing please
Artem - Likes to be edgy & treads it better than others

Jason - Inane
Kristina - Love she has a good dance unfortunately he's very annoying

Holly --- like her humour but wish she'd wake up before dancing
Artem --- fan-dabi-dozi

Robbie --- I like him more than I thought I would after his footballing career, ballroom dancing much better than expected too
Ola --- much prettier without make-up, very good at playing to the strengths of her partners particularly Chris Hollins

Alex ---- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
James -- please shut up

Harry --- fit, fit and not a bad dancer
Aliona --- fluid dancer and choreography fine when she doesn't go too far

Chelsee --- potentially brilliant once she believes it
Pasha --- the ideal big brother, and choreographs well for Chelsee

Jason -- haven't seen him for a while, he annoys me so much I go and make tea
Kristina -- like her with Robin
