Can someone explain why they think the X factor people want Misha to win.......I want her to win because she is the best act I have ever seen on the show.....but what is the conspiracy according to the theorists?

Giving this a bump as I am really curious about it.

Personally I don't think there is a conspiracy, but I think the judges are slightly deluded when it comes to Misha B. They've saved her on 3 occasions on the grounds that she will sell out arenas/records when she can't win the public over.

Got no idea,
I have not watched X Factor for ages but just watching on +1 and Misha's sing off is much better than Janets.
It has more maturity in the performance... and I don't mean she sounds older.

Janet looked a sweetie though so I can imagine conspiracy theory will be out there

There's always one every year.
The public can't stand them. The judges love them.
I always say there should be a rule. If someone's in the bottom two 3 times... they should be evicted automatically.

Or Maybe, it's because she's the star of the M&S advert.

Sour grapes. There is no conspiricy.

I think they view her as a proper popstar in the mould of Cher. An urban version of Cher.

The producers don't care about wanting people to win (Cowell aside, they're TV producers not record execs) but they do care about making a "good" tv show.

The only reason I can imagien they want to keep Misha in is the same reason for Cher last year - they've got a good duet partner lined up.

I normally believe in the three strikes and you are out rule. But there has to be exceptions - like tonight.

They could not have sent Misha home and left Janet in.
I do believe however if Misha had been up against any other contestant, she would have gone.

The problem is that this is not a singing competiton but a popularity contest manipulated by the media - and the British puiblic fall for it hook, line, sinker and copy of Angling Times every year.

There should not be a sing off at this stage - there never was until last year. Sing offs are fine in the early weeks to save a strong act who the public overlooked - but after 7 weeks they aren't needed.

It just smacks of corruption and leaves the show open to criticism.

Let the public decide - clean fair and simple. No fixes, no trickery no oscar winning performances from Kelly - whoever comes last in the vote goes!

It's not like winning the X Factor has any bearing on longevity - in fact, winning is often a curse.
Olly Murs and Jedward are way more successful than most winners.
So why keep her in?

I don't think they care if she wins, but they need her to make the latter stages to get a recording contract.

There hasn't been one.. single.. word.. of critisim for Misha B since the "b" word incident several weeks ago....

It irritates me because this was the third time Misha has been in the bottom 2. If the public aren't liking her enough to vote for her, they aren't going to like her enough to buy her music. I mean, if winners who were never in the bottom 2 (Matt Cardle, Joe Mcelderry etc) struggle to sell albums, Misha will have no chance.

I don't think it's a conspiracy to get her to win, because it will never happen. But she is one of the better performers of a lacklustre lineup, so I think they want to keep her in as long as possible to keep the live shows watchable. I imagine she is a goner next weekend.

Misha was saved tonight because she sang brilliantly compared to Janet. Had she been up against any other act, I'd say she might have been in trouble though even with that stand out sing off.

I admit I like Misha but she's no longer my favourite.

Weren't they editing Kitty's VT to make Misha look like an evil song-stealer a few weeks ago? It's a very inconsistant cospiracy if it is one.

I'm sick of saying it, the only people she's not winning over are the sheep who think what the producers want them to think and vote for different contestants. How many of the people who voted for Joe, Leon etc. etc. actually went out and bought their records? Hardly any.

How many people bought the records of people who came second or lower - millions.

Which is why I don't vote. The public only has an influence on who the bottom two are, but in actual fact have zero say in who goes, which imo makes phoning in almost completely pointless.

With Misha being in the bottom two so often, it's pretty clear the public doesn't want to have anything to do with her, yet because she seems to have the judges wrapped round her little finger, she'll probably end up in the grand final anyway despite her extreme lack of popularity.

I don't think there's a conspiracy about Misha. It's just simply the case that the judges want her to stay, but the public aren't as enthusiastic about her.

The judges keep saving her because vocally, she is probably the best act in the show, and could have a career. It seems unfair because the public clearly aren't taking to her, but it's not like there's a rule that says the judges have to eliminate someone after multiple B2 appearances.

...........interesting bits of theory here but all quiet from the more hardline conspiracy theorists I see.

I totally agree with you.
Misha, to me, is the best singer and entertainer - she's very versatile too.

Misha is by far the most interesting character left.

A quick look at the front page of this forum at the time of wrting shows absolutly no mention of Little Mix or Marcus yet about 5 threads about Misha. She is the talking point of the series and with declining ratings, the show needs a talking point more than ever. I don't think they are that desperate for her to win, but they do want her to make the final.

Saying that, I do want Misha to win and on all three occasions where she was in the bottom 2, I thought she clearly deserved to go through.

To be honest, that VT made Kitty look like a petulant child who wasn't getting her own way, as opposed to making Misha look like a song-stealer.

Louis provided a sound reason why Kitty couldn't sing the song. Kitty whined like a child because she wanted that song. It didn't make Kitty look good.

And I say that as someone who liked Kitty.

I honestly don't think anyone cares enough to bother anymore. The show is stuffed with so much contrived crap this year it's embarassing.
