I really is overkill isn't it. We have a scene showing another celeb reading out instructions, then cue hut and Cotton telling us what they were told to do. His talking head shots add nothing. Between him and the fake romance the producers are showing a shocking lack of grip.
Last night Lorraine referred to conversations with Chrissy that we never even got a hint of. When Fatima left to do the task Chrissy was really upset, again we have never been given a hint that there is a pal-ship growing there. Get a grip producers, please!!!

I was really surprised by that. There's no context to the editing at all this series. In addition we had Pat telling us on ITV2 that there was no romance between Mark and Emily. So why the heck are ITV so intent to make out there's one?

That would really sucker their plans. Would love Fatima to win.

Beats me but, Jessica also said that she didn't think there was anything to it on Emily's part except friendship but, the producers are hell bent on trying to convince us that there is one. If they hadn't I'm pretty sure Jess would still be there.

I am sure the producers must look into here and they must realise that the majority of people are sick of their edit.

Have to say that I have now stopped watching. It has become the Mark Wright Show, thanks to the constant featuring of him and the blatantly obvious fauxmance. They couldn't be trying harder to give him more air time than anyone else if they tried.

As for Anthony Cotton - he gets airtime because he moans and bitches so much, rather than the fact that the producers are determined to push an empty headed, shallow, vacuous man down our throats.

Hear, hear. As far as the romance is concerned Jessica confirmed that there is nothing in it. As for Mark he certainly is no gentleman with his suggestive comments. Remember he knows how to play a reality program.

I get really fed up when they are doing a chest, we see them read out the instructions....we're not idiots...we understand them...then we see the camp mate tell us what is happening. What a waste of time! We don't see enough HLs as it is!

My thoughts pretty much echo those of Butterface. Was really enjoying this series after having missed a couple of years because there was a few older ones in and people i'd actually heard of

It went downhill for me when Emily entered. The first thing she did was tell them who she was, as it was never in question that none of them would know who she was - so it was pretty evident what the agenda was going to be.

The next day I think - in the pool with Mark & suggestive comments I just thought "oh nooooo".

To be fair I didn't give it chance to disprove that theory but it does sound like I wasnt far of the mark (pardon the pun)
