Janet looks happier and more relaxed on xtrafactor than for ages!

She's smiling away. I think she's glad the stress is over. Now she can start to sing the music she really wants.

Can't wait for the tour and the albums.

I have never presumed to say how Janet was or should be feeling. That's up to her. In fact I've expressed doubt on other threads about her staying in.

All I personally did was say I would vote as long as she was in the competition.

When i said Janet would be happier out of the show, you told me that she wouldnt be and i dont no anything and for all the fans to vote even more because of my comment.

That paid off.

She's a bit like Diana Vickers in a sense that the stress of the X factor got to diana and had a few bad weeks up until she left and she has gone on to good things, wasn't a Janet fan but I wish her all the best and will say that she acted will real grace

I would have liked to have seen her reached the final and then lose. It's a mighty relief she won't ever have to work with Cowell and Syco anyway (as poor old Matt Cardle is discovering).

She definitely looked like new life had been breathed into her and she sat there with a bit of confidence at last.

Probably just been sick.

I always feel much better afterwards.

Very true OP. Janet looks far happier than she has done in ages. Good luck to her.

I agree...Janet was being stereotyped too much, shes been off her game for a couple of weeks, and Kelly was not being a mentor..she was focusing on Misha as per...

Not a Janet fan but shes going to do so much better when shes out there doing her own things, playing her music and writing her own stuff! Good luck to her!

You could tell right from the moment she was in the bottom two that she knew she was going herself so i think she got used to the idea of going home Anyway i wish her a bright and successful future and all i can say about this compitition now is LITTLE MIX TO WIN!!!!

Agreed. I would have loved to hear a couple more songs from her and that Coldplay duet! Hope Coldplay refuse now. Can't see them singing with anyone else...

The last few weeks you could tell Janet wasn't happy and now she is free to sing the type of music she likes and will suit her voice. These themed weeks don't suit Janet's voice.

I wish her all the best and look forward to hearing positive stuff.

Amen.

Whilst I love the likes of Lenoa and Matt, I think the whole 'XF' buzz has died significantly with recent series.

It's just one of many platform's to launch yourself now [AKA you'll probably do better coming in running places than winning!]
