How can a three time bottom two singer be a candidate to win !
conchie

How on earth can Misha be regarded as a candidate to win, when three times now the general public have given their verdict on her and relegated her to the bottom two.

It must be a frustration for producers who are hyping her up and yet the public are not playing ball at all !!!

Seems to me the only viable winners left are Little Mix or Marcus.

As a fan of Janet, I am thrilled for her that she is out of this circus at last and is free to find her own path in her own way.

Well, don't worry about it OP. Next week it won't be down to the judges but to the public solely, so whoever goes next week will have been truly voted out by the buying public.

No mention of this after the sing off either and it would surely be a highly relevant reason to vote her off the show.

Because theres been no deadlock...(or was there with the Kitty situation? Im not sure!)

I totally agree. I wonder whether Simon Cowell (if he were on the panel) would keep Misha B on? Or whether he would say "the public have spoken" What is the point of her going on to win and get a recording contract etc. only for the public not to buy her records.

I know. It's an utter travesty - and something I'm sure the voting figures will cement [AKA Misha would've gone on Deadlock tonight, and maybe every other time she was Bottom 2 thus far]!

Thank goodness it's a statical impossibility that a Bottom 2[er] can win the show.

I want Little Mix to win [and Marcus to come 3rd or 2nd - more free to do his own thing].

Amelia's gonna be the fall-girl for the Chosen One next week methinks...

Yeah........ funny how when it was Kitty's turn.........the fact that she was three times in the bottom two was the main reason she was dumped........" the public are not connecting with you " .

This is exactly what I thought...hypocrites! Everyone was saying Kitty wasn't connecting with the public and Mishas voters may of just been complacent blah blah but shes had comeback votes and that is it..XF viewers just don't like her, shes not a underdog!

They cant.

Marcus will walk it from here....

Misha B is probably going to get a record contract from Simon regardless, so they want her to give her as much exposure on the show as possible like how they pushed Cher Lloyd into the final over Mary with a last minute sing off even though she definitely wasn't going to win.

Yep, can't see it being anyone other than Misha that goes on that basis.

Don't forget they dumped Aiden Grimshaw last year in his very first sing off when he was up against Katie W. who was on her third or fourth sing off at that stage, so the producers have form in this regard.

I doubt Simon would be interested in Misha there is no real market for her. Very few X Factor winners make a reak carrer out of it most are here today gone tomorrow

If people wont pick up the phone to spend 36p to save her they certainly won't be spending £10 on her CDs or £40 for concert tickets! The judges are idiots. Simple concept. No one is voting for her so they wont be buying her music!

Technically speaking, it's still entirely possible for Misha to win. It's very unlikely, but it could still happen...

I agree with you - and I am a Misha fan that would buy her records. But obviously the public just aren't getting her unfortunately. But at least the OP and other posters on this thread are for once not blaming Misha B herself, who is only singing her heart out and trying her best, but the judges who keep saving her. Not that I'm complaining tbh as I'm happy that she's still in.

I think it will be between Misha and Amelia next week, no sing off, but it will be one of the two who are bottom of the public votes, be interesting to see if any *stories* are leaked or appear in the press this week against one of the four acts left, that would be very telling for me.

It really grates with me that someone in the bottom 3 times has been saved. Kitty was toast, and told why, ie she was not popular or connecting with the public, why the producers do not get Misha is in the same boat beats me, they must be stupid.

Tbh I don't think they even care how bad it looks anymore, they just do whatever will grab the best headlines within reason. Iirc Aiden went after deadlock though, shame it isn't purely vote based from week 1.

Who says it will be down to the public next week - in my opinion they will keep the sing off for the semi as they did last year. Just hope they tell us before the vote - and not afterwards.

The producers want to engineer the final they want - and a sing off gives them the control! I just hope if Misha is bottom 2 next week they do the decent thing and let her go - 4 times is just silly. Let the public have the 3 finalists they choose!

It really is going to very telling when the voting results come out.

Bet Misha would've gone on Deadlock on all of her Bottom 2 occasions...!

Cher was saved twice last year in a sing off - and lost out to Mary Byrne in votes in the semi.

Misha may well do well after the show - like Cher - but she won't win the X factor as she lacks mass appeal!

He went after deadlock because they already knew how the voting had gone, but logic would suggest they should have saved him as it was his first appearance in the bottom 2.
