Proof of insulting editing

Well, Lorraine's exit interview proved the point that there are all sorts of conversations going on in there that are all being edited out to focus upon tits, bums and faumances.

There had obviously been some very serious and deeply emotional discussions and instead we get Mark inviting Emily to Essex and bikini shots.

Bad selective editing has killed Big Brother and IAC has gone the same way

It's Antony moaning about cooking that gets by far the most coverage of any subject, actually.

They probably didn't want to show Lorraine talking about her abusive uncle on a light entertainment show. They never show that kind of conversation on I'm A Celebrity.

Was thinking the same myself during Lorraine's interview.

It probably wouldn't have been right to broadcast the whole conversation but we were given no clue as to how Lorraine and Chrissie empathised with each others' childhoods and how close they had become

This is why they killed live feed and to me that was the end of reality TV .. edited just as the Producers want .. shame really, they have truly dug their own grave .. we need something new and bright and worth watching, this I am afraid is not good viewing any more.

Seems to me that all these programmes have been dumbed down to such an extent that Jeremy Kyle starts to look like in depth analysis. Looks as though I need to invest in a Kindle instead of a new telly......

So true this is the reason crissy got so upset i never knew lorraine got abused soo sad glad she become a strong women same with crissy and fatima.
Even though i find moanthony annoying his outburst do liven up the show but i dont like the fauxmance with mark and emily the producers obviously knew they were doing tge chest challenge and made sure there was slime so they could be rolling around in top if each otheri do luje mark.

It's a sensitive subject and maybe the producers didn't feel it was right to broadcast it.

If people were named they might also be legal implications.

I disagree. Live Feed isn't that important to the success of a TV show. The producers should show these sort of conversations but then again, what was said and perhaps it was too detailed to show?

IAC works fine without LF IMO and has done for years with huge ratings.

The programme isn't really long enough to show all of the stuff you'd like to see, but seeing as it's a Prime Time ITV slot, they can hardly extend the show to two hours per night.

This shows is editted, really?

Its get a 1 hour time slot, ad they don't show everything that goes on..... shocking.

After watching the excellent Garrow's Law I watched the last half hour of Celebrity. Have to agree with you about the editing and loss of live feed.

Don't think we had live feed last year but we did hear some interesting conversations.

I do think this is the beginning of the end of reality TV. Celebrity is usually on after the watershed so we could be shown the conversations instead of Mark Wright chatting up Emily. We really know nothing about any of the camp mates. Supposedly there were some interesting conversations from Stephanie too.

I also found it interesting that Pat Sharp sastys other than the massage there doesn't seem to be a romance between Emily and Mark.

I just hope the audience votes to keep in the older more interesting camp mates. I am tired of Jess in the Bush telegraph and the Antony, Mark and Emily show.

Unless live feed and more interesting highlights are shown I think I'm a Celebrity will die a death.

I felt the same we have no idea that Lorraine and Crissy had got so close as all ITV are interested in is Emily and jessicas chests, Mark and Anthonys moaning. I agree that they couldn't have shown the whole conversation but some insight would have been nice

TBH if the final 4 is Emily, Jessica, mark and Dougie I will switch off I think

I agree but they seem to find another hour for the Now programme. I don't know why we only get snippets of the actual jungle footage.
Whereas I do enjoy Ant and Dec it seems they get far more airtime.
The celebrity panellists also get more airtime than the celebs in the jungle. It's sort of like a magazine with pages and pages full of adverts and only one or two actual articles inside.

I now only watch this programme for Ant and Dec as I just don't see the point in a reality show when you get no actual reality....just snippets of what the producers think you should see. IAC really is now just the bush tucker trials and little else apart from shots of boobs and bottoms. Heaven alone knows what it costs to send all those 'celebrities' out to Australia for three weeks or so and then never show us what they actually do in the jungle. All that money to show the bush tucker trial!
I think this is the first year when I have thought that no one actually deserves to win, I couldn't care less about any of them and I think, for me, this is the last year I shall watch it.

It's edited to the point that me and the missus haven't guessed a task or eviction wrong so far this year.

It's absolutely pathetic and this show is going the way of Big Brother with the screening of just an hours propoganda for the 'whoever the production team want to win" team.

I gave bb a miss this year, and I am so hankering for those late feeds on JAG ...but I am watching this, and just trying to read in between the line.

l just watch it for what it is, a light entertainment show. The last thing l want to watch is someone on there talking about being abused. l can see that on Jeremy Kyle thanks.

This is true. The show now consists of Ant and Dec @rsing about, the bush tucker trial, the celebrity chest, a few shots of Emily and Jessica's tits or in bikinis, Antony having a whinge and Mark being nice but vacuous! If we're really lucky we might get a few snippets of the other contestants (especially Dougie) to justify them being there but that's it - the show in a nutshell. We only get to see anyone other than Mark, Emily, Jessica, Antony and Dougie when they get to do a trial or be voted 'Prince of the Jungle' so they've got to include them in the edit.

I bet there's been some cracking conversations in there but for some reason TPTB think we'll be more interested in Mark massaging Emily or whatever. Well I'm not, I find those scenes tedious and contrived.

Shame. IAC was unmissable viewing a few years ago but it really has gone downhill nowadays IMO in trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

And boy are they trying to force this 'romance' on us or what? That celebrity chest with them bouncing all over/on top of each other was actually quite cringeworthy in it's manipulation!

Exactly, the whole idea of 'reality' tv has been killed off now. I only tune into IAC at the end to see who gets booted out. No interest whatsoever in the bikini babes, Essex boy and bitchy spoilt brat Cotton.
