I absolutely love these types of trials. i loved the one last year when dom, stacey and jenny had to make thing s up to fool everyone and this years one with the crown has started well.

what does everyone else think of these tasks?

It could be good, goes on for 3 days, bound to wind people up, we need things stirred up in there.

I love it, pity they choose Anthony and not, say Jessica

I might appreciate the "traitor" task a bit more if not for the complete and utter coincedence that Cotton the Chosen One was one of the people picked by the producers to do it.

I think it allows two contestants to look courageous and considerate to others while the rest look either stupid or (as happens in Big Brother) bad when they rumble the negative tasks.

For example, had somebody kicked off about the crown having worked out that Anthony had burnt it, they would have looked bad to the public and anthony good, because the public know that he is on a task.

It would be good if someone other than Antony Cotton was doing it! But it just shows how ITV know he and Dougie will be there for the next 3 days, otherwise how could they be chosen to do it! Either they rig the votes, or they are so way out in front every night that they know they won't be beaten!

Anthony is actually ironically good at it.

Whether he's good at it not is supremely irrelevant. It's the blatant favouritism shown by the producers

But they must have picked him out as being good at it and it turns out they are right.

I enjoy these tasks too.

Or becaue he's popular with the voters, same with Dougie, otherwise it's a bit skewed if one of them leaves during the three days...then they would have to get someone else in.

Maybe they know those two are there for at least the next three days?

Of course he will be there in the next 3 days because he is the only one causing any controversy The rest aren't and that is why he is on the highlights show. If he was the chosen one, he would most likely win but we all know he won't win.

He probably knows that himself.

My theory on mianthony being chosen is his always in the bush telegraph so it wouldnt look suspivious and it suits his persona his loving it

Must say I was surprised that they didn't make more of it.
Surely everyone would have helped Lorraine to find the crown but it just fizzled out and in the next clip Lorraine was just seen wearing a hat and there was no further reference to it.

I enjoyed it. Anthony came into his role in the camp...the villain and he did well.

It amazes me that they dont cotton on based on the fact its been done for the last few years - anthony is prob one of the most savvy regarding the show as he seems to have watched it before - I think thats why he's been chosen

I totally agree. The editing was bad. It took the excitment out of the watching task.
We saw no backlash or questioning and then Ant and Dec didn't have time to show Lorraine the footage of Antony's traitor deed in burning the crown.
