Head to Head

First off let me say I do not have a favourite and I don't really mind who stays/goes, wins/loses. I'm just watching the show as is.

Fatima and Pat both did a great job in the head to head. Poor Fatima with that roach up her nose that was horrible. I think that would have put me off having to go next to be honest.

But I have to ask, were there any stars in Pat's container? I don't think he found one star did he? I can't help but wonder. It's not like it was very deep and he seemed to be having a good route around.

I'm certainly not calling foul play but I would have thought he'd have found one at least.

Weird

Also, I noticed that Pat kept his hands behind his back, which I thought they were supposed to and Fatima was holding on to the container. It seemed like she had an unfair advantage.

I must confess I didn't notice that. I just thought it odd he didn't find even one star given it didn't seem to be very deep and he had his face well into the gunge.

I only noticed that Fatima was searching around much faster than Pat and with what seemed to be much greater determination - Pat seemed very halfhearted about it, maybe he had just run out of the desire to win or he deliberately didn't find any out of sheer respect for Fatima because of the nightmare experience she'd just been through of having a cockroach stuck up her nose?

Fatima was fast and had her head in deeper than Pat - it is no surprise Pat could not feel any, he wasn't even making the effort.

I have a feeling that you could be right about this. On the ITV2 show, he was in total respect and admiration for what Fatima went through with the roach and for her to just continue afterwards. I wouldn't be in the least surprised if he gave it up for her to win at the end out of sheer respect for her.

My OH and I both thought he'd throw it before the whole challenge had even started. We also decided he would do so in the tie break. The cockroach up the nose totally convinced us he would throw it and then he kept his hands behind his back and barely moved his head in the gunk.

Can't prove it, he won't talk but I think he only went half-heartedly for the stars.

That is what my hubby said. I think Pat wanted her to win (not implying that Pat would have won if he'd tried harder or whatever). If that's the case that was nice of him. Regardless, it was a job well done by both of them

I thought that after Pat said he struggled to find any stars they should have proved that they were in there at least. I don't think for 1 minute that they weren't in there but isn't it usual in "gameshows" to show stuff like this.

I refuse to believe that Fatima and Pat polled less votes that Lorraine, Chrissy, Emily or even Willie

Funny how the two gamest in camp finished bottom when there just happens to be an "extreme" challenge

Still it doesnt make good telly if we had Chrissy and Lorraine there refusing to do it

I also find this really hard to credit. Who is voting for eg Crissy or Wille? Surely Pat and Fatima would have to have more support, be it negative or positive (ie keep them in cos I hate them or keep them in cos I like them)?
