Look, I loved Janet's voice, but a lot of you hated it. Understandable, musical taste is subjective. Can we all at least agree that she left the competition with her dignity intact. She took the elimination incredibly well, looking a lot happier with the whole thing than she looked about being saved some previous weeks. Most importantly of course, she did not perform Firework in yellow trousers!

She was great tonight, but nerves have killed her performances the last few weeks.
She is a very beautiful girl, striking looking.

I think she looked more relaxed than she has done in weeks! And was very dignified in her elimination, good on her

Janet [and Kitty also, to me] both really gave heart in their final appearances, and yes, went out with total dignity.

Think they're the only two this series [thus far] I can say that about really.

i think what people really love bout janet is that when the words fails for her...her music speaks... u could tell that when she sings is like she's talking to you directly n that singer-audience bond is so rare in the industry...every word she sings...every word u feel

If there is anything I can agree on is that she is a sweet person.

Lets face it she was losing the fighting spirit for weeks now, , if anything its relief.

Well maybe if she did she would have won the show. Shaboing -boing!

Yes she did leave with dignity and Kitty did but lets not forget Johnny did as well.

I think she was relieved to be off the show, I think she even said when asked to sum it up in three words, one of them being "stress" and stress affects us all in different ways and she is only just 17. I wish her well for the future and will watch out for her as I am sure there will be an album deal, and hopefully not with Syco.

Janet has big hair!

What?

That's a compliment...I don't have any!

Only compliment I can think of - very nice legs which looked great in those short dresses. I could watch those gorgeous, creamy white pins of hers all day long.

Oh, and her red hair looked beautiful this week.

She went out with a lot of grace, and gave a great performance to boot. A nice end for her.

Agreed. I wasn't a fan but I thought she was actually good in the song-off and after she was eliminated she seemed to relax for the first time in weeks.

Same view here. In XF terms that was a reasonably happy ending.

Janet's singing style is different but that was her charm. With the right songs and the freedom to interpret them and present herself as she chooses, Janet could be a very successful singer. I would buy her album.
The X Factor was just not the right platform for her.

She took it well because she had 24 hours to deal with it.

rarely has a Saturday performance been so crap that Sunday was a foregone conclusion even for the most one-eyed fans.

How long do contestants have to wait before they can sign for someone else if they turn down an offer from Syco?

I think she'll do well, she seems to be a lot smarter and stronger than her image would suggest
