I'm not a Corrie fan, but when I've caught a glimpse of him in it, I've always thought he must be a nice bloke in real life. How wrong I was!

No but before the show people on the soap forum said he was rude when they met him but he is.now known as moanthony i wonderex what his like on set when fizz and the girl who works in the bistro were on the itv2 show they seem to be fake about there suport for anthony

He annoys me in Corrie, I have gone off him even more now. Only positive thing is that he will be off my screen soon when Corrie is on, as he will be filming in the jungle.

Apparently he has a little 'in-clique' on the set, I don't know if Fiz is included though! I've heard horrible stories about him for years.

I think "Sean" might be having a character change, Trouble is he knows how to keep the writers and producers sweet. He won't be leaving too soon.
I don't mind him TBH but I do think he would be a nightmare to be with 24/7 in the jungle and could get people down.

But he is on Corrie so that fanbase alone will keep him in for a while if only because they know who he is.
The rest are not on a programme that has as big a fanbase except possibly for Mark.

I really won't, although admittedly I don't really watch Corrie anymore. It is a shame when you find out more about the actor and it taints your view of the character... :sleep: i'm happy in my fictional world!

Someone I know was an extra on Corrie and Antony had loads of takes for very easy lines he had. Everyone apparently was so fed up waiting around for him to get a simple line correct! I don't know how he got on Corrie in the first place, luck was on his side I think. And when he eventually gets his lines out, he is a terrible actor!

As I tell folk who accuse Corrie fans of voting to keep him in, its certainly not the Corrie fans I know (and I'm one!) A few of my mates have met him and said he is utterly horrific. Very nasty and deeply snide.

A few of the Corrie cast are banging the drum for him on Twitter (the actors who play Eva & Fizz in particular, Kym Marsh has only mentioned him twice I think) but the rest are very conspicuous in their absence.

He's a hideous creature. Snide and blatantly jealous. The faff he made over Fatimas meal yesterday was outrageous. Thing is, people need to keep voting for someone like Fatima to keep her in over the idiot. He'll get booted eventually....

I could not garee more, I knew nothing about Anthony Cotton before he went into the Jungle ... I knew hims as Sean from the street and thought this fella will be gas on IACGMOOH ...first few days I thought ahh maybe he is getting settled in..... next few I thought Oh hello Mr Nasty, since he had his tiffs with Fatima I thought what a knob-head and last night when he was silking I just thought grow up ! Gone off him now ..... flute

There were a few blind items about a clique on-set on corrie. Most guessed it was Sean, Fizz, Molly and a couple of others. Allegedly, they bullied a couple of actresses on set so much that they ended up leaving. I think one of them was that Polish woman in the factory. Anyway, I believe Sean and Fizz are the main ringleaders but Antony Cotton is so in with Corrie producers, he won't be leaving anytime soon, unfortunately

And yet how is it practically every few minutes we see him in the Bush Telegraph - it's like he's the darling of the show. It's so blatant.

Don’t really know why but he is exactly how I expected him to be personality wise. Bitchy, catty, selfish, sharp tongued and nasty. Though some of the things he says especially when he is sarcastic does make me laugh. The only things that has surprised me about him is how possessive he has been over the cooking, after a few days I thought he would calm down but he hasn’t he isn‘t chilled out or laid back at all.
