As soon as it was announced that it would be Janet vs Misha tonight, it was obvious that Janet would be going. But then I was trying to think who they would actually save ahead of her in next week's bottom two (assuming she's in the bottom two again, that is). I think Amelia is great, Little Mix won me over several weeks ago, and I've always thought Marcus seemed a natural finalist; but I can't help thinking that whoever faces Misha in the bottom two next week will be booted out. SO how do folk think the judges would vote in each scenario?

Misha vs Little Mix: Kelly and Tulisa obviously vote for their acts to stay, so it's between Gary and Louis. Louis loves "the Little Muffins", so he would vote for them to stay. Gary, I think, loves Misha the most, so would vote for her to stay. Misha would then go out on the deadlock.

Misha vs Marcus: Kelly obviously votes for Misha to stay, and Gary would (sort of reluctantly since he loves Misha so much, although he obviously wouldn't show it at all) vote for Marcus to stay. Then I THINK Louis might just plump for Marcus to stay, although I'm not positive about that. Not sure about Tulisa either - she gives it that "you're my kind of music" spiel with Misha every time she's in the bottom two, but I think she likes Marcus. However, Louis voting for Marcus to stay would mean if it goes to deadlock Misha would go anyway, so it all hinges on Louis' vote really.

Misha vs Amelia: this is possibly the most interesting scenario. Louis would vote for Amelia to stay, clearly. Tulisa would, I suspect, vote for Misha to stay, although again I'm not positive on that one since she seems to see Amelia's start quality too. So we get to Kelly, and if she abstains, it hinges on who Gary votes for, which means if he decides Amelia should stay, then Misha is off. I don't think he would incidentally, since he clearly loves Misha and has already slagged off Amelia a few times. But Kelly wouldn't want to take that chance, so I think she would find some excuse to avoid chickening out this time, and vote for Amelia to leave. Then Gary either puts it to deadlock or votes for Amelia to leave - as I say, I think he'd vote for Amelia to leave, but he might just use the "this is your fourth time in the bottom two, Misha" Get Out Of Jail Free card and put it to deadlock.

In short, I hope Amelia isn't in the bottom two next week, because she's the only one I think the judges would send home over Misha, mainly because it's the only scenario where Louis voting for Misha to leave doesn't guarantee it going to deadlock at least.

What do other folk think? And I'm not interested in an argument about why Misha B is the best or whatever - I'm just interested in how people think these three scenarios could play out.

So it's untrue that next week it's down purely to votes with no bottom two? Damn shame.

I think they'd only save her over Amelia. But there won't be a bottom two next week - unless it's a deliberate ploy to give her an undeserved spot in the final.

I think if Misha is bottom of the votes, there will be a bottom 2 and she will be saved (over Amelia).

If Amelia is bottom of the votes, it will 'conveniently' be an instant elimination.

Nobody. They'll fix it so she's in the final.

I thought there was NO bottom two next week, hell if that happens I think the public will be in uproar. It should be purely down to the public vote, but hey they have messed around enough already so who am I to say they won't again if Misha is polling the least. Surely though they would have to tell the public that it is judges voting .. mind you they did not last year with the Mary fiasco.

Like last year's semi the producers will wait to see the results - and then decide if a sing off is needed.

I think for variety they will want a Little Mix vs Marcus vs a female soloist.

So I think Misha or Amelia will go in the sing off - and will probably be the bottom 2. I expect Misha would be saved - again!:yawn:

Hi OP, thanks for your interesting post on my 'Janet's Departure - I'm In Two Minds'thread. Wrote some of my thoughts in response too.

I honestly think the judges would have to send Misha VS ANYONE home, it would be crazy, really unfair not too... They should have made it easy and done it this evening, Janet deserved one more chance. Misha's had one too many. It's not rocket science judges...PUBLIC DON'T LIKE HER!

Still, be interesting to see what happens anyway. If there's no bottom two, then it's even more ridiculous they saved her this week - might have been interesting to see who would stay in next week otherwise.

Amelia. That's it. No way over Marcus and little mix are too well liked and never been in the bottom two. With amelia they have the excuse she was brought back in

I think the only person Misha could beat in the bottom 2 is Amelia and depending on the intensity of the performance possibly Marcus, depending on Louis, because hes a huge Misha fan!

When Tulisa was standing with the girls tonight she looked really really nervous. She knew that if they were in the bottom 2 with Misha, they would be out.
