Vodafone 3g
I just swapped over from T-Mobile to Vodafone. Thankfully I have not committed beyond a 30 day sim only contract as Vodafone 3g is so poor in comparison. I have lasted 5 days and will ask for my pac code this morning.
While the 2g part of the network is pretty good especailly in rural areas the 3g network is full of holes even in big cities like Glasgow. Out in the suburbs is really patchy and further afield is frankly pathetic. All is forgiven T-Mobile |

What about giving orange a go with their sim only tariffs? as they seem to be rolling out the 3g sharing way faster than their partner network t-mobile.

I prefer to have T-Mobile as the home network as their 3g coverage is the better of the two. 3g roaming is rolled out for t-mobile in Scotland so thats fine. Also, while unless you take tethering on your account the speed is capped, data is much more reliable on T-mobile than Orange. I take tethering and its fast. Great to have Orange 3g/2g as a back up though.

Sounds like you are going back to t-mobile and I was with vodafone for a while as well good in some places and absolutely terrible in others!
