Is it only the music you download from itunes that automatically goes over to your iphone? How about albums I have copied from home onto my itunes?

I don't believe music and videos on iTunes is transferred via iCloud (otherwise it'd eat up your whole 5GB free allowance), you need to send music/videos to your new phone via an iTunes sync. iCloud is for contacts, photos, calendar entries, notes etc.

iCloud will be able to do music you've bought from Apple, but the rest of your music from albums can't be synced with iCloud until Apple bring Music Match to the UK. It's available in the US now. I think you have to pay extra for it though.

$24.99 a year I believe in the US, should translate to about £16 or so when it finally launches in the UK probably some time next year.

More likely £20/25 knowing how everything over here is always more expensive than our cousins across the pond! But then again, Apple may surprise us .

I was under the impression that licensing agreements meant it would not launch in the UK any time soon?

There's been no official announcement, other than Apple stating they are currently in negotiations with rights holders.
