Am I getting too cynical in my old age.........but when Pat ended up not being able to even FIND one star, I began to wonder if there were any stars in there at all !!!!!

How would we know.... it was a thick heap of sludge, and Fatima found all of hers quite easily. Just seemed a bit unrealistic that Pat would not even have managed to nab one of them between his teeth.

He even said it at the end. He said I could not even feel one of them. Hmmmmm

Well, I could see one of them at the edge of his tank, so there was definitely at least one !

I thought he took it quite slowly whereas Fatima really went for it. I did wonder if he was allowing Fatima to win, after her nose ordeal, without losing face himself

i love a good conspiracy theory but are you seriously saying that, especially after all the problems itv and ant and dec have had in the past with refunding phone votes etc -- that they would deliberately rig a trial so a contestant loses? and rig it so obviously that it could be exposed by simply sticking your hand in and checking? i don't think so.

Fatima moved pretty quickly and had her head under the gunge whereas Pat was gently moving his head from side to side and not taking the plunge.

Fats was on a mission. I seriously don't think anybody could have beaten her.

Well she did say later that she felt sorry for Pat because he was up against someone who would have died to win.
