I was like that at first. Everyone was discussing the layout and all I could see was scaffolding and piles of bricks.

But now it's taken shape and one side of the street looks built I can see what's what.

What are you struggling with Liam?

Choose a photo and I'll see if I can help explain it ...
Lol it keeps happening so many times lol! I always thought I had a good imagination.. Maybe so much so I can't imagine it being anything other than scaffolding. Lol!

And thank you!

I mean, is that Gail's house and the pub there or something? I'm all so confusedeth :L
However after studying some others I think I *might* just be getting there!

Browse back through the thread, there are lots and lots of pictures right from the original plans to its (near) current state.

Beware though that some of the links have expired because the photos have been removed.

Enjoy

GREAT find - so exciting!!!

There are now two windows to the rear of the corner shop (though this could be a post-tram crash addition that we've never seen)

Also an extra window on the back of No.7.

Also spotted that one of the upstairs windows on the Kabin has been doubled up (though again this could be a post-tram crash addition that I've not noticed)

It looks gargantuan in comparison to the current set!!!!

The 'posh' houses also looks loads bigger and the terrace looks longer.

Very happy, especially after I'd been so cynical!

This picture is quite good to contrast with the latest view of the new set.

This picture is from around 1990ish.

Looks weird though, I'm sure that house has always had just the one little poky window at the back, with the thatched window frame.

Also think that No.4. has been altered quite significantly - looks like they've increased the height of the sloping bit of roof that currently just covers the hallway and taken it up to almost the same height as the main roof. I reckon they'll possibly add in an upstairs window to help account for it supposedly having three bedrooms now rather than two when it was first built.

Using the windows to help measure id say it's at least a metre wider. once on air i'm sure to count the bricks!
