probably cheaper to have one generic bedroom set than to build around 30 individual ones which would be hardly used, same with bathrooms, when did we last see a bathroom

So tonight is the night of the final Granada episodes, this thread has covered the whole thing from when it was just a patch of dirty across from Media City, seems weird that its finally going to be shown on screen on Monday.

Thanks to you Pyramidbread for keeping this thread going with pics and screenshots over the last couple of years - it's really much appreciated! Cannot believe the new set's on screen next week. Been a long time coming!

Looks like they're gonna continue to have that problem of water building up in the middle of the cobbles. There must be some way of sorting it...

It's great to see they have made an effort to house a partial interior within the backlot's Rovers now; I can only think of the live episode in 2000 when they used the outside pub on the Street?

And yes thank you to everyone (new and old) for posting your thoughts and information on such an iconic soap (even if you no longer watch Corrie or think it's a load of drivel!)

It looks a lot better than before, but I really wish they'd done to same thing to the salon instead. Would've been nice to have natural light shining through into the place IMO...

Definately, especially with such big windows, perhaps they will change it in time.
