Poor wages , the hours they put in . SCD is the worlds most successfull reality tv show , the BBC are making a fortune . The pro dancers are as much the reason for watching the show as the celebs .

Totally, 100% agree with you. I know that a lot of posters feel that the wage is a good one for a professional dancer, but to me it seems very low, considering that they are television personalities, choreographers, dance teachers, and whatever else the BBC throw in for them. It would be nice for the BBC to acknowledge just how much the pros contribute towards the popularity of the show with a raise (maybe they could balance the extra costs by getting lower-profile presenters?).
I find it strange that people think the pro dancers are poorly paid when the dancers themselves come back year after year. Anton,Erin and Brendan have been doing it for 7 or 8 years now so you would have thought the penny would have dropped by now. Or could it be that they are ok with what they are paid?

how much do the zelebs get?
35K is a lot for a pro dancer for 4 months & it means they can charge heaps more for private lessons - mine with Anton 5 years ago was 100 quid an hour, and they will be able to charge heaps for sell out shows, dance weekends etc - non SCD pros can't do this (even if they are "better" dancers)

But i agree, for prime time TV its rubbish”
ok I have to ask- was Anton worth £100 for an hour? I have no dancing skills so it would be a complete waste of money in that sense but it might be worth it for his company!

It's not that posh and she's sharing with someone else as well. No more expensive than most other 2 bed flats in that part of London.

As far as i remember it was a decent flat and she wasnt sharing it with anyone as i remember the cameras went in her shower room and she showed the cameras all her things and where she likes to keep them
£35,000, seems about right for all of them, if that's what they get, for 4 months work.
That's a total cost for pro dancers, of nearly £500,000 for the series.
It's a "buyers market." There'd be plenty of other dancers who'd jump at the chance.

If you're thinking of the flat they showed last year on ITT, she's moved since then.

Yeah that was it. Its funny as she had no food in her kitchen, apart from Ambrosia custard. How can you live with no food in yiour kitchen? There was NOTHING in her fridge or anywhere
