These kids are so wonderfully gracious when Lord Sugar fires them. Am I right in thinking that somebody reacted really badly when they were fired in a previous grown up series? Can anybody remember who? or am I remembering it all wrong?

I think it was Melissa who was from the series before last, she was the blonde spikey haired little troll if you remember her.

Melissa Cohen after being fired: "They will be karmically retributed. The universe speaks louder than I do."

What does that even mean?!!

Melissa was pretty angry with the other contenders, but Pantsman had a bit of an outburst actually in the boardroom muttering "Joke" on the way out.

Philip stamped his feet and called his firing a joke, despite Pantsman and his god-awful performance on the week he went home, just proving what a awful awful contestant and poor sport he was.

Another for Melissa - on exiting saying 'thanks for ganging up on me you horrible people', and turning away when the others tried to give her a hug goodbye

As aforementioned, Mellisa and Phil
I'd also like to ad Adenike's firing from series one episode one. It was the first firing so no one knew how to act cause there were no expectations on how to act. I just remember her just sitting there after she got fired acting incredibly annoyed...

Didn't Melissa have a monster sulk and accuse the two chaps of ganging up on her when she was walking out as well ?

Not against her fellow candidates, but I felt like yelling at the screen when Lindi said "I guess Lord Sugar didn't see how special I was" after getting fired. I really disliked Lindi. Partly for her massive ego. Partly for saying Jenny Celerier was a good PM in Week 2 when she was a terrible back-stabbing, vile, disgusting, aggressive PM just because Jenny "praised her when she did something good", thus inflating her already over-inflated ego just that little bit more...

RANT OVER.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Adenike. She had such a bad attitude!

Melissa was the first I thought of, but Phillip was awful too, and Mahamed, too, remained quite full of himself, I thought. Probably a pleasant lad, but I didn't think his Rolls Royce interview did him any favours...

Joy Stefanicki on series 6 said 'Oh man!' rather than 'Thank you very much for a wonderful opportunity, Lord Sugar,' when she was fired.

Have to agree with Melissa. She was downright rude, Not just for what she said on exiting the boardroom but what she did to the other two candidates - refusing to shake their hands and saying get out of my face.

They were quite funny though, and at least they were natural.
I remember one woman - not her name but she had long very curly hair - who asked Ld Sugar (Sr Alan as he was then) to change his mind, she said, "Please". She was very funny, not pathetic either, just amusing.

Melissa was an amazing candidate.

I thought Gbemi was pretty ungracious last week, doing as much as she could to ignore Harry M when he went to make a consolatory gesture. But then she's only 16, I guess...

I'd say Melissa was the worst loser too. She was really funny though.

I take it you didn't see the first firing of this series of Young Apprentice?
