Shoes and leisurewear advice

I am looking to buy some new clothes and shoes tomorrow and would like some advice. I am not up to scratch on the latest mens fashion and it is confusing. What would be some nice mens shoes/trainers to buy? I think I am looking for something along the lines of forest hills but it's the bright colours I am unsure of. I am 31 and am not sure if something like forest hills would look ok for my age? Are these shoes out of fashion at the moment and if so what shoes would be good to buy? I want to stand out but I don't want to look silly if that makes sense.

Also what about the clothes, are polo shirts, long sleeve tops and jeans better with shoes like forest hills? Would I be better with tracksuit bottoms?

Please help

I have a couple of points. Firstly are the clothes and shoes comfortable for you and do you think you look OK when standing in front of a mirror?

I wear formal trousers and shirt with a tie for meetings with colleagues, etc. but in my own time I wear exactly what I like in my own time and I don't give a flying fox what anyone else thinks. Also, I'd put the age numbers aside; it's not really relevant - do you feel and look good is.

Secondly, you might get some more tips and advice if you asked the mods to move this thread to the Fashion & Beauty Forum where there are male posters as well.

Good advice from TelevisionUser.
You have to feel comfortable and confident that you look good rather try to hard to be fashionable.
