I think you will find that most countries dont have FTA F1. As I have said in previous posts, not sure why people are blaming sky for the current situation. It was all the BBCs making.
As for the coverage from sky, they will offer a load more, especially if you have an ipad/pc to hand (this side of things did look very impressive, if only they would have an app for android as well!!!. There will be a lot more options via the red button as well, camera angles, stats etc.
Sky will take the FOM feed, like all broadcasters. As for sky providing extra footage from the race. They may well do, but it will be a FOM feed - which will be available to everyone. Not sure if FOM have some kind of tiered service or its is a one fee for everything.
If think initially the sky service will be good. Since they have a full channel to fill the post race analysis will offer more then the 20 mins or so the BBC gave it. Each move will be analysed, all from different angles and shown several times. They will be throwing a lot of stats at the viewer as well.
Anyone who caught the preview show - did you notice that RB had a new ' layered fin' type arrangement? It was something they used on the last day of testing. It seems the exhaust will be blown onto this 'layered fin' arrangement, creating a bit more downforce. Seems quite clever.
