He then wrote:
'My bad, just found out Jenson never followed me. Don't blame him! Need to be on Twitter more!' ...and is currently trending in the UK as a result. He's getting some stick on there as many people already knew that Jenson had never followed him! I'm sure the PR team at McLaren think Lewis needs to be on Twitter less not more though - must be about his 5th Twitter mishap.

As a fan of Lewis, despite his talent, his stupidity and perpetual foot-in-mouth syndrome never ceases to amaze me. As one said, he needs to engage his brain in gear before he starts shooting his mouth off on Twitter.

Thing is, Ross Brawn isn't daft.
He'll know if Hamilton comes with any "needs" and he'll be prepared to cater to them. If Hamilton needs somebody to tell him when to pit for wet tyres or how big the gap to the next car is Brawn will ensure that he gets somebody to do that for him. Like many I don’t think Lewis will be as well cushioned at Mercedes as he was at McLaren. Sure Mercedes haven’t bought him to waste money but I think they will be surprised and caught out by how spoon feed Lewis needs to be. Further I’m not sure if Lewis is humble enough to ask for the help or if Mercedes have the experience to provide it. Mandatory LOL at Lewis for being a twit on twitter, again. |

Interesting point about him not realising that he might be expected to do more than stamp his right hoof all the time though. In that case I expect he'd be in for a rude awakening pretty quickly though cos any team who was expecting more from him would soon make their requirements known. |

Must admit surprise and lack of confidence at Red Bull after a second very comfortable win for Vettel. More because of the dominance in Korea, save an engine fault and that Ferrari are struggling in qualifying and race pace not quite enough. McLaren have in my view abandoned the season, certainly with Hamilton and Button has been too far back for some time. The change in attitude and puzzlement by Hamilton spoke volumes in McLaren's undeclared decision and expect little more than testing and evolution to next year's car from now on.

Pretty uninteresting race but good to see Kobayashi make the podium at his home race, I hope he gets a drive next year. It looks as if Red Bull now have the upper hand and a third title for Vettel now looks a distinct probability.

I can never hear his name without thinking that he is a lost cause, a "no win" driver, if you will.

But she took on a bigger role after BMW involvement ended. She owns 33.3% of the team, which Peter transferred to her earlier this year, and is expected to take over the team when Peter decides to give it up. It is good to see a woman working in a high power position in F1, which is dominated by men. |

I was watching the BBC commentary last night and I noticed the cameras were often showing an asian woman in a Sauber uniform but it wasn't MK. MK would be out on the pit wall whereas this person was either in the garage or hospitality area. Dunno if that was, maybe, Kamui's missus or something? |

Monisha is to take over Peter Sauber's role of Team Principal with immediate effect.
This makes her the first Team Principal in the history of F1. |

As far as we know. Don't forget the cardinals were once fooled into electing a female Pope.

To be fair, I guess we don't know whether Hamilton actually needs spoon-feeding or not so it may never be an issue.

“We struggled a little bit and didn’t get the result we wanted in both Singapore and also Suzuka. At the end of the race I said I felt something was wrong throughout the weekend. http://formula-one.speedtv.com/artic...ssue-in-japan/“We found that we had a couple of mechanical problems in the car from qualifying through to the race in the last race, which is positive for me to know, because I thought I felt something. Isn't it a little late to notice that after the race? |

Maybe this will be the start of more female involvement in the sport. There have been precious little representation from women in Formula one, it is a bout time we saw a resurgence of women in the driver's seat.

As long as they're there on merit rather than as part of some publicity stunt which may go tragically wrong.
Speaking of which... has there been any further information about the crash? |

Ouch!
Speaking of which... has there been any further information about the crash? Given that the other teams demanded proof that there was nothing wrong with the Marussia car which might be dangerous to other cars and drivers and they seem to have accepted the evidence they were given, it's probably only right for the rest of the investigation to be conducted discreetly as there's nothing to be gained by, potentially, publicly humiliating Villota. I suppose that other teams might decide that there's something to be gained by suggesting that other teams have test drivers (or development drivers) who present the same risk but until they actually do have an accident it'll be hard to prove and after they have an accident it'd be rather distasteful to pursue. Meanwhile, I've never really understood why McLaren struggle so much at Korea. I can see why they might struggle at Suzuka, given that so much of the circuit is high-speed curves but Korea includes 3 honking great straights and most of the rest of the track is "point and squirt" in nature with only a couple of long, high-speed, corners in the middle. You'd think that, much like the difference between Button and Hamilton at Spa, it'd just be a case of McLaren extending a lead through the 1st sector then RBR clawing some of that back through the middle sector and then both being about equal in the last bit. |

So, just watching FP3 at Korea...
I wonder how long Webber is going to stick it out at RBR? I mean, I can see how he'd want to stay there while it's the best car but as long as they continue to only build one and a half cars every year he's really never going to get the opportunity he thinks it'll provide.
