Maybe Vettel let Kobayashi straight back past after it happened

They didn't even wait for Button to get onto the podium before playing the anthem

All a bit rushed wasn't it. Seemed to be all about the World Champion and the podium was only because they had to.

Hamilton has been the most unluckiest driver by far this season

Yes, If others finished where they did, he would have won by more points than he actually did.

i.e. still 4 places between Alonso and Vettel but a smaller points gap.

hee hee, the folk looking for the ah, but what ifs. .

Yeah. Alonso in particular just seems to want to get off as quickly as possible. Can't blame him.

I'm genuinely pleased to see Felipe Massa back to top form, seems like a really nice guy.

The first safety car was ridiculous IMHO.... Debris on the track....?! What next, wind in the wrong direction, Ferrari struggling, I know let's have a safety car

The Ferrari conspiracy nonsense gets a bit silly at time. The debris needed cleared. Vettel himself was going on about it.

Another memo to Lewis Hamilton... next time park the obviously broken car on the corner where you came to rest [plenty of run-off there after all], do not drive across the track and then park at the pit lane exit.....

It didn't help him.

Besides, it was dangerous. There was a lot of debris on the track and one driver had already picked up a puncture. It needed to be cleared and the only way of doing so safely was a safety car.

There was no need for a safety car at that point

He was 40 seconds behind so it did help him and who knows maybe the drivers can, you know, avoid the debris by driving round it

There was too much debris. Even behind the safety car, Vettel was still going on about it. But don't let facts get in the way of things.

I'm sure you'd feel just the same if Vettel had picked up a puncture.

Where he parked it was safer than parking in on the corner where everybody is braking from the straight.

No memo needed.

Will they investigate Vettel overtaking Kobayashi under waved yellows?

Crossing the track in an obviously busted car is safer how?... the run-off from the original corner finishes in Interlagos city itself, I know where I would have parked it
