If they win this the hype is going to be HUGE, so no I do not think they will walk away for solo careers, not until they have been very successful ie 2 years down the line and yes. I think G4 lasted a long time before they split, and where are they now, one thought he was going to have a big solo career and to my knowledge it has not paid off.

He is doing gigs around the country sometime on his own sometime with 3 others going G4 songs he was not long ago supporting Hayley Westenra.
Worse thing they ever done was sliting up Matt was best one with the deep voice
Little Mix have a much better chance as a group than as solo artists. That's the case with most groups actually. They have the advantage that they can vary lead singers as well which will make them sound different over time. I would like to see them fill the spot vacated by the Sugarbabes (Mutya, Keisha, Heidi period) a bit of originality and cutting edge.
Little Mix will not want to pursue solo careers and I'm sure they realized that after the events at Bootcamp.
Besides, they seem to be much more happier, singing and performing together than as solo artists and would definitely fill the girlband hole left by the Sugababes.

Same with my grand daughters 16 and 12 and they missed the spice girls so Little mix for the win, dont worry the fans vote like mad as soon as phone lines are open.
