As it stands at the moment Little Mix looks like a done deal. Marcus is going backwards in performance levels but thats my own view. Amelia and Misha have both been in the bottom two so as no act has ever won from being in the bottom two it has to be the girls
Its great that Simon Cowell is backing them to win but I wouldnt say it is a done deal that they will win. Look at last year he wanted 1D or cher 2 win but they didnt. And because this year is so close anyone out of three could potentially win

He's probably said to each of the mentors that he is backing them.
I think it would be totally unprofessional of him to favour one act over another. Though professionalism and Simon Cowell aren't two things I'd usually associate together.

All the top four will get a deal with Simon. He gets first refusal which is why I believe they kept Misha in over Janet so they don't lose Misha to another record company.

Definitely not this year. They signed 4 last year and the plan was probably not to give any act apart from the winner a contract this year.
Littlemix are the only ones that are likely to get a contract with Syco apart from the winner, which I think will be Marcus, and I'm sure he will be cosigned to Epic.

I pray to God you are right about him winning and getting a joint deal. With a competent record label behind him, Marcus could enjoy a lot of commercial success.
I think Little Mix will definitely be signed now. Syco are probably anticipating the moment that they are allowed to sign their first girl-group.
Amelia and Misha could easily be signed too. Amelia is probably more suited to Universal though.

Simon obviously wants them to win because they could make him some money. If Marcus wins Simon will lose the guts of a million quid. Marcus is a non-entity who will be completely forgotten by the time he releases an album.

I seem to recall that Simon Cowell was still trying to hype up One Direction last year when he must have been aware that week after week Matt Cardle was storming home in the phone votes...........I almost believed him too despite the fact that they were not the best act but probably the act he could make most money from...........its the same with Little Mix.

would be funny if LM were revealed to be topping the votes though! I had no idea how Curdle topped the vote EVERY SINGLE WEEK (apart from the first) last year! it should have been Rebecca imo
I think at this point It's clear they are going to be signed if they win or lose. I think Marcus would have to win to secure a deal.
