Single: Nice and Sleazy by the Stranglers

Album: Discovery by ELO

(A bit of a contrast, there. I've always had a fairly eclectic taste, though. I think I was the only one in my school who liked both Pink Floyd and the Sex Pistols)

The first I bought with my own paper round money were:

Single: Bangladesh - George Harrison

Album Electric Warrior - T. Rex

Although I had previously received Dusty Springfield's Golden Hits and Sergeant Pepper's as Xmas presents from my parents.

I remember that! Didn't it win the Eurovision song contest that year, or at least was highly placed? I can still remember the song really well, it was one of the better ones.
