She has a degree (I think that is what she called it) for playing the violin - she said it was one above a grade A

She is incredible. She really does have a great heart and is extremely personable. Most importantly, I hate when people patronize little kids, and Kitty doesn't - she treats them like their her equals, and I have a lot of respect for her.

Not to mention she sang Paparazzi incredibly... and she's a Little Mix fan

It's a shame that her audition footage consisted of a "Worst of Kitty" montage. If she wasn't slotted into the novelty act spot, I think she could have done a lot better in the competition and had more of a chance with the public.

I agree but she did herself no favours sitting on the edge of the stage, she put me off at the time, and it took her a while to win me over. They wanted her to be the novelty, and they do not want an over to win either, simple as that I think.

Kitty wasn't quite right, but in the grand scheme of things, nervously sitting on stage during her audition is less of a reason IMO to dislike someone then bitching about the show being a karaoke contest (Janet) or saying that they're better off without the show but then begging to be voted back in (Amelia). The hate she got after being a consistently strong performance was disproportional to the "crime" committed.

Wouldn't surprise me. Even if she did it on her own, to have people boo her and make nasty personal character attacks because she jumped in the pool says more about her detractors than it does about her.

It was the constant talking and going on and on, that put me off but I have never said she could not sing, as she can, and I warmed to her so much so I did not want her to go when she did.

The power of the edit. For all we know, people like Janet or Misha or Marcus could have been babbling non-stop as well, but it was edited out. Kitty was a bit goofy, and they created the exact image they wanted out of her footage: public enemy #1.
