La Isla Bonita - Madonna

4 minutes of pure pop heaven - original album version the best, not the mashed up greatest hits version.

SOS - ABBA
Manages the trick of being a jaunty pop tune but with words that really tug at your heart strings.

Nonsense - of course it makes sense.

Pop in its purest form is "Popular" music and includes all the sub genres you have mentioned. Pop music wouldn't include gregorian chant, baroque etc etc. To many people RnB is a form of pop music

This, in my view, is an absolute classic. I'm a very big fan of Sweet in general, but this particular one blew their others out of the water.

I have not checked the untitled youtube links but this is my favourite song that any of you have suggested so far!

I came off the fence earlier this year and decided that my official favourite song of all-time is the Beach Boys with Do It Again.

Into the Groove - Madonna
Or Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody (Not sure if that's more rock than pop though)
or a more recent choice for me would be Just like a Pill - Pink
