Me too! I've just watched Rowlf and Fozzie play "In an English Country Garden" on the piano. It cracks me up every time I watch it.

Btw, I can't believe that post from the mods. They should know your sense of humour by now, or the general sense of humour on this thread. It was a tad obvious you were messing about. Very strange (no offence, mods! )

No tears from me. Just a big, soppy grin across my face for 3 minutes 22 seconds.

This is really bugging me about The Muppets and Singing in the Rain. I remember once reading an interview with or article about Gene Kelly, and he said that out of all the pastiches/tributes/ whatever you want to call them of SitR, his favourite ones were Morecambe and Wise and...well, I thought he said The Muppets - it was definitely something Muppetish/cartoony... any ideas anyone?

I'm more of a lurker on here and I know its not the norm to appreciate but I just LOVED both of these - really gave me the warm fuzzies (I'm sorry if I belong in the attic for that !).
I will however unappreciate that Jason (yawn) will prob get mega scores this week - I can just feel it !

Perhaps he fused the muppet show with Paddington ... after listening to Greyson ........

It just occurred to me that maybe he meant his appearance on the show that I've posted the link for. But I seem to have an image in my head of Fozzie dancing in the rain on that street set. Oh well....

Edit: Grover did it on Sesame St... but I still reckon Fozzie did it too!

I've got the image as well, and I hated Sesame Street and didn't watch (sorry, but there was something deeply disturbing and not right about Big Bird) so highly unlikely to have seen Grover do it

Ah yeah, wasn't she great? She's very much the forgotten one in SitR. God I love that film. I'm going to have to sit down and watch it again very soon.

Ah, so it's not just me then. Maybe it's just not on YouTube. I've never watched Sesame Street before either and when I was watching Grover just now, it was very disconcerting because he's got Miss Piggy's voice!

Ooooh, before I forget, if anyone sees Sideshow Stu - Kate Bush is on Radio 2 next Tuesday at 7pm.

I would gladly join you in throttling her parents. Must admit I am a massive softy when it comes to children and the elderly.

Jason, however, does not fit into either of those categories.

That was very sweet and a little sad at the end. [insert heart smilie here]

Ha! But that's the sad thing. Seems like two of them are hibernating in his armpits while who knows what is having a nap on his chest. Thank god we don't get a look at his bum.

Love this!

BTW, someone mentioned Seven Brides For Seven Brothers in the last thread. I've got it now and will watch it over the weekend!

Do you think it's just the tail of a skunk hanging out from the smells reportedly coming from his arse?

OK, I think we've finally crossed the line!

For you

(Non-appreciating having spent weeks practicing the work I am doing tonight and got foiled because the server I'm working on isn't the same setup as the one in test. Now have to chase a server guy to fix it for me )

Gone all nostalgic now, think it's going to be Harvey for me and Mr AK tomorrow night, well me mainly, film doesn't have quite the same effect on him

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvfXvW2wsuQ

*Sigh*

Ummm, Dancing, yes, Jimmy Stewart's latin would have been rubbish, charming, but still rubbish - but still better than Robbie's

One of my favourite films - haven't seen it for ages. [Are you listening BBC?] [b]Love[/B Jimmy Stewart in film roles but - sadly - am not sure he was so nice in real life. A real militarist and gun lobbyist, by all accounts!

Alli got done!....Alli got done! That made me laugh - the mods don't pay any attention to page after page of requests to start a new thread, but they soon march in here, telling Alli off like she's 5 for making a sarky comment!

I'm please to see that the most interesting thing Yoda's Scrotum has done is stir up an argument on this forum.

As for Paddington - I love him, he was always very reasonable in his opinions of people and had enough realism not to pretend everyone was nice - unlike the fluffies out there
