Great start to RTE's coverage in HD.............. Opening title's for the Euro's begin and the channel upgrade screen pops up for everyone that has the HD pack Finally fixed 15 mins later

It was always then plan not to move them unless England or Ireland get the the knock-out stages. I suppose it makes sense given as there was no logical place to base them.

Not the best HD PQ on DSAT from the BBC studio stuff right now.
Does seem rather grainy.

UEFA graphics are purple. I wonder if the BBC will tailor their graphics to match.

Picture looks fine on sky HD. They have BBC reporters pitch side with shearer and that other idiot who gets everywhere now lol. Am liking the BBC commentators really not look forward to ITV coverage and thier terrible tv commentry team I'm not just talking about Giles I'm talking that horrible londoner Townsend can't stand him.

ITV have the better pundits and having Vieira out there allows him to make far more accurate comments on Polish society than the bland stuff Seedorf was coming out with earlier.

Other then the BIG FONT TO SHOW THE NAME OF THE PUNDIT, ITV's coverage so far looks the more impressive. The opening titles are clever as I've said before, and the studio is cute.

For a big tournament, the BBC's main pundit team should have gone to the host nation. It looks like a glorified episode of MOTD to have them stuck in Salford. At least ITV looks like proper event coverage.
