I mentioned this on another thread- a cane toad hopped into camp in the nighttime of day 3 or 4. Given the choice between these two and the cane toad, I want the cane toad to win. It was so memorable and interesting, unlike the two guys left. I reckon it would have been good at the tasks too.

I'm not even joking; I would genuinely rather the cane toad won over these two. It had style, it had personality!

With all due respect what has he done that's legendary? I can think of people who have been in the jungle and we will still be talking about them long after Ant and Dec hang up their boots. Even if he wins I doubt if he'll be remembered as fondly as some of the honorary losers they've had on this programme. If anything this series will be remembered for the nastiness which he was a part of.

Legendary status is reserved for those who made us laugh and kept us entertained. People may not have liked Peter and Jordan before they went into the jungle but, we loved watching their relationship blossom. We may not have like Janet Street Porter and Paul Burrell but, they made us laugh with their bickering. We may not have like John Fashnu but, we grew to admire his determination. David Gest was a lazy so and so but, he made us laugh with his tall tails. George Taki may have been a bit old for the jungle but, boy was he a gentleman. Jimmy Osmond was a nice chap but, when he did that "water lily" trail the nation was in stitches. Worrell Thompson was a pain in the neck but, kept us glued to the screen when he led the "coup". Stacey was probably the nicest person who ever went into the jungle and she we liked her because she was kind and thoughtful without being smarmy and false. Janice was just great "aw man" and although she could be brittle we like her because she was genuine.

In short what has he done that will make us remember him over some of the names above? All I can remember is the spitefulness of Beckhamgate, and the faux romance. Hardly the stuff that IAC legends of.

Couldn't give a toss I won't be watching, may they both disappear into obscurity.

Mark who's been kissing ass and faking it throughout this series and smiley giggly Dougie.

Marginally prefer Dougie to win but I genuinely don't give two sh!ts about the final. Neither has done anything to warrant a place in the final.

Exactly this - I think they have both been brilliant .

If you're a member of a very successful boy band you are guaranteed to do well on shows like these. Dougie could be the ugliest, laziest, most boring non-talented specimen in there, but the Bands fan base are of course gonna vote for him...Foregone conclusion is it not?

One could be picky and suggest Dougie has an unfair advantage by being in a band as their fan base is huge...Whatever happens, I am not too fussed on the outcome but would like to see Dougie triumph over Mark.

The final is going to be so boring! I wanted Fatima in the final - not Essex Man and Dull as Ditchwater. This is just my opinion - I'm sure others will disagree. I'm sure Dougie is a nice guy but for me he didn't stand out. I wanted him to but he was just meh and bland. Mark is just fake and arrogant playing to the cameras and being a lickar$e. Whatever people including myself said about La Cotton and even Willie at least they stood out. The two guys didn't really kill themselves doing anything apart from shooting the breeze. I don't think i'll bother watching the final. The whole series has been poor this year.

In my opinion the saddest thing about all this is the amount of those fans voting purely because of who the finalists are..Not because they have been 'fantastic / abysmal in the Jungle..I wouldn't be surprised that half the voters haven't even watched this series

I agree, I shan't be watching it, infact I haven't bothered since it became patently obvious they were engineering a win for the mutton head from towie...........so the end of week 1!!

In the case of Mark I think the word bellend would be more appropriate.

I haven't actually voted, but if I did I would have voted for Mark and Fatima. Mark because I think he's good natured, a great mediator, and strong willed in his own way (he may have screamed like a girl when the rats were let into his bed, but he stayed there). Fatima, because she has so many qualities that I admire, however, she is slightly lacking in the humour departnment, so Mark would get my vote over her.

Just out of interest, why do you think you know how other people decide who to vote for?

Most to do with reading tweets ( as in my previous post ) from 'fans'. I have seem many referring to as 'haven't watched it but Mark and Dougie are fit'!! and general hearsay from others. 3 of my Nieces ( 13 yrs 15 yrs and 19 yrs ) are in that category. None of them have watched this series but between them 2 of them want Dougie to win and the other Mark.

I asked the oldest if she liked Fatima and Antony, she replied.." Not really, they're too old. Mark and Dougie are reem!! "

It's understandable that young people are more likely to vote for fit young lads than an old person like Willy. Hwever - we've had old winners in the past Carole Thatcher, Phil Tufnell and Biggins spring to mind. This year, Fatima has stood out in the trials, as you would expect, but has a bit of a sense of humour bypass. Crissy and Willy let themselves down on the dungeon task.

Biggest problem, like in BB, is lack of Live feed where we would really get to know the campmates and the nitty gritty of the relationships in there. The show now is so formulaic that we see very little of what goes on when they're not doing trials.

You mean the two safest, inoffensive people made it through. Reality Show at its dullest.

He's kept me entertained this series, I doubt I would have watched any of it without him being in it, he's been hilarious. Him v Fatima has been one of the best moments of the show, he's just a genuinely cool guy who likes a laugh, he deserves to win.

I think this series will go down as Antony vs Fatima, or even The Cockroach vs Fatima. I really can't see how it would be Mark vs Fatima..

When was he hilarious? Seriously I can't remember him being funny during the whole series. I suppose it's an age thing but, Mark comes across as being to smarmy to be cool but, that's probably just me.

2 likeable, presentable young men in the final Predictable outcome, considering the likely sex & age of the multiple voters.

Mark has performed better in the trials, though !

May the best young man win. ...... It certainly won't be an exciting final- but there will be a lot of love around.
