So the three judges are Robin, Katarina Witt and Louie Spence. That means that unlike last year, most of the judges will be focusing on the skating side rather than the performance side. Which is just the way it should be.

The DS article seems to suggest that Karen is back on the panel, althought the ITV press release doesn't read like that to me.

Well i quite like Louie - I thought Jason was getting far too big for his boots last year - and more offensive than ever.... I'm glad he's gone, and Louie can't be any more of a diva than Jason was.

Saw Katarina judging on Battle of the Blades - and she was good on that - and definitely better than La Bunton!

I love three of the judges (Katarina, Karen, Robin). Thrilled to have three ice skaters compared to only one last year!

Fantastic news! I think that the mix of 2 skating/1 dance expert is perfect, both sides need to be considered fully IMO, but the skating should come first and that wasn't happening in the last series. I don't know much about Katrina, but she obviously has a wealth of experience and she's replacing Emma Bunton.... need I say any more!?

As for Louie - granted he's not everyone's cup of tea, but I think some of you are underestimating his popularity. I think that ITV have done well to get someone so well known to judge on the show.

I'm glad if Karen sticks to being head coach and isn''t on the panel. I'm pleased Bunton is gone, but another one worried about Louie. I'd rather they'd kept Jason, but shifted things so he was the only non-skating judge. ITV encouraged Jason to be the pantomime villain, so presumably they'll be wanting one of the newbies to take over that role.

Louis will be a big draw for some people and IMO he is harmless and to be fair will make the panel more upbeat than mr misery Gardiner.

I'm so excited! I've wanted them to get rid of Jason for ages and last year somebody suggested Louie as his replacement. I thought 'I love that idea, but it'll never happen'. It has! I think Louie will bring so much to the show and I cannot wait for it to start.

I wish they'd gone back to 5 judges. Three just doesn't work in my opinion.

I'm really impressed they got Katarina Witt. She's one of my favourite female skaters. Not only very technically competent but had lots of personality on the ice.

I'm glad Emma and Jason have gone. Jason was funny to a certain point but last year the judging seemed to become all about whether he and Karen were going to argue or not. I can't wait to see Kristina either I was a big fan back in her ice skating days

Well at least Jason and Emma Bunton aren't on the panel and that I'm pleased about as they both annoyed me last year.

Louie Spence and Christine Bleakley are on my "Presenters I can't stand" list, so I will be giving it a miss this year.

I do think it was time for Jason to go though.
