Something for fact fans - this is the first time that the final six contestants have all scored 30 or more in the same show

Much better tonight, thank goodness! This series has taken 10 weeks to warm up. Holly made a much bigger impact than previoius weeks; just goes to show how much of a difference it makes if the celebrity likes their dance. She looked so chuffed with the marks that finally her personality started to shine. Maybe she just hasn't had the sort of feedback she can deal with, so far. Robbie and Alex were the least impressive though - just from the perspective of watching the dance and the technicalities of each. Jason totally nailed it, which surprised me because those are such mahoooosive shoes to fill and it could have made him look over-confident. Kristina really is showing her colours as a choreographer now. Artem is already a top notch designer of routines and Pasha too is shaping up well. Perhaps finally we'll start to really have routines that literally sweep you off your feet! It's about time.

Robbie apart, the standard rose a notch.

I don't normally watch DWTS but I saw the finale and the standard was way below what we expect.

We've had a good couple of nights, the Hollywood and the Halloween one. Is it all about the (H)aitches? How about Hackney next.
The rest have been marred by a shallow approach.

What a difference that little thing called proper music makes.
