We can't have everything - its either a dancing competition or not! (spoilers)

I'm as frustrated as the next man and woman tonight by the result in that Robbie is still in, and the bottom 2 saw Jason (who I don't like but do admire his and Kristina's dances) and Alex.

The show was originally a dance competition with a dance off between the bottom two (granted from public voting) and then a judges vote at the end to keep the better of the 2 pairs.

Now we have purely the public's voting which really does affect the competition as we can see by Robbie remaining in - I would say that Anita definitely deserved to stay ahead of Robbie.

It has to be one thing or the other. We can't moan about who stays if it is purely going to be based on people voting for their favourite celebrity and not basing it on dancing skill and "improvement" as Brucie stressed tonight! Alternatively the beeb has to make it a dancing competition purely based on ability, and revert to the previous format.

I know which I would prefer but I guess income will determine it!!

It didn't start as a dance competition - the voting system is the same this year as it was in year 1, apart from the 'fix' for ties on the leaderboard. Worse dancers than Robbie have been in the final...Chris Parker in year 1 being a classic example.

Having said all that, I do think it is sad that the GBP prefer to vote for those who can't dance rather than those that can. It symbolises all that is wrong with GB and why we lag behind the rest of the world so often

What is the point of having a spoiler thread when people start new threads about the spoiler??????? And then don't put spoiler in the title. I despair.

You don't have to worry - they got the result wrong!

Ha ha - very Sun newspaper!!

Robbie Savage was wrong to use the tragedy of Gary Speed and his family to gain votes from the public. Will this man stop at nothing to try to make up for his lack of dancing skills?

Anyway, I don't believe the OP, we'll see tomorrow.
