Indeed 3 do pay when you get called or texted but the calling party pays far more usually to make the call to your 3 phone, so effectively its your friends and contacts who pay.

Worth remembering that call charges are also much higher on 3's WePay scheme. 30p a minute for calls X/Net anytime compared with 12p on T-Mobile and 15p on Tesco, EasyMobile and Fresh. Even taking into account the inbound calling credit (5p per minute for calls received up to the value of your top up) that still makes 3's calls 25p per minute if you manage to gain the maximum credit.

All things considered 3's WePay is a gimmick to divert attention away from the cost of calling.

You are misleading people as per usual. On WePay on 3 people get charged 15p a miute to call another 3 phone, 10p a minute to call a landline and 30p a minute to call another mobile phone network. This is after you have used the allowance given to you after your top up of for instance £25 you get:

500 minutes and £1.50 of credit to spend on 3 services or
50 minutes, 500 texts and £1.50 of credit to spend on 3 services.

I know that you've got a major chip on your shoulder over Three because of a bad experience years ago but you really need to explain both sides of the story rather than presenting an aspect that gives a minor bit of credence to the biased sh*t that you're spouting.

Also, I can't be arsed to dredge up one of the countless anti-Three threads you've contributed to but you said that they couldn't sustain WePay for more than three months and you also said that the 500 minutes pack would be going too well would you look at that, it's all been going been going for a 'ickle bit longer than that now....

:yawn:

WePay price plan can be found in this document

Macattack, here it is;

Wavejockglws' prediction for the end of the £25, 500 mins TopUp.

This was dated 14th February 2006. Over 3 months ago.

I don't remember three themselves EVER saying they were planning on dropping the £25 offer and it appears Wavejockglw's intel was completely wrong on this.

Just more of his mis-information on 3.

'3 Insiders' indeed

I find that Orange is by far the best overall performance. Customer services are very friendly and knowledgable, coverage is great and the free extras you get with orange make it the best all round network.
