Influenced by all the great Blues musicians (BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher, Muddy Waters etc), I think we can all hope that he will do his thing for many years to come.

I'll admit that the little I'd heard of Bonamassa in the past left me cold until I clicked that version of Stop you posted. Beautiful. I'm now eager to listen more. Thanks!

Johnny, Bonamassa is on course for a UK no. 1 with his new album. Thought that news might give you a brighter outlook on the charts John Mayer is at no. 2 in the midweeks. Definitely not a top 2 I ever thought I'd see.

Do you have the new Bonamassa album? If so, what's your verdict?

That is good news I bought both those albums and both are great. Not quite up there with the earlier stuff but then both artists set very high standards early on. Still very listenable, though.
