Us brits tend to remain modest and cover up more when it comes to revealing cheeks at the beach, but after recent holidays abroad I've noticed the 'thong bikini' is more of the norm in places than I thought. Although I can't say I've ever seen any brits in them on these holidays, mainly russian/european women. Why is it less frowned upon in other countries? And girls, have you or anyone you know worn one to the beach before. Would it make you feel too exposed?

I tried my wifes on once for a laugh but my balls hung out the side.

I don't like things up my bum.

I wear a bikini and sometimes when sunbathing I tuck it in to my bum to get a better tan but I wouldnt wear a thong bikini.

Only reason is I find them a bit pointless.

Plus I like having a white bum.

Two years ago while on holiday there was an old man sitting opposite me on a sun lounger rocking this look. The rest of my family were in the sea and i'd been left to look after their stuff so i couldnt move.
