I use a really heavy thick nivea on my face but my face just absorbs it and still feels dry like there is gravel embedded in my skin sometimes .Nothing works!

Yes, morning and night using Bulldog Anti Ageing Moisturiser.

I don't think it is suddenly going to make me look 10 years younger or anything but it feels nice on the skin, it is natural (no parabens etc) and quite reasonably priced. I have very sensitive, reactive skin so if I find something that doesn't bring me out in a dry, flaky rash I tend to stick with it!

Unless you're a baby with baby-soft skin, you have to, don't you? I was born with very dry skin anyway plus the water here is so hard that if I didn't, I'd look like a dried out old prune.

I moisturise everyday, currently using Olay Complete Care Fluid For Sensitive Skin. I've tried many moisturises from the 'natural' stuff to top brand names. Once bought a £20 cream and it made my skin even worse! But nothing beats the Body Shop! They have some really great stuff, they cover all skin types. The products can be a bit pricey but they are definitely (IMO) worth it!

It is true that you should try around first to see which Moisturizer suits you best. I'm with Nivea at present, lovely lovely stuff.

Honestly. No. Although I have got a tube of Johnsons baby naturals intensive moisture cream for my face which is lovely.

Yes, that is another factor. The water in London is ridiculously hard, it is not great for the skin at all. I use a filter which helps somewhat.

On my face, I use Simple moisturiser every morning and if I wear make-up (which I do most days), then after cleansing and toning, I use Bio oil and No. 7 Protect & Perfect night cream. I also always use Simple eye cream.

I have more baths than showers and I always put a few squirts of Johnson's baby oil in the water and I'll moisturise my body with whatever's there; I'm currently using Mandarin Spa in Citrus Spice, which I bought in Sainsbury's and it's yummy - a lovely fresh smell which isn't overpowering.

I've moisturised my face every day since I was 14 and now, at the grand old age of 52, I have no wrinkles.

I cleanse, tone and moisturise daily.
Same here, twice a day. I moisturise arms, legs etc every night after my bath also

I suggest you try vaseline on your face over night. You will not believe how much better your skin feels. I use it on my feet too and on my body if it is feeling dry.

My other favourite is vitamin E oil from Holland and Barret. They do two kinds, get the most expensive one which is like thick gloop. This works wonderfully on nails as well as giving a welcome boost to your face.

I use all different creams too, sometimes one and sometimes another as I think your skin gets used to it all. My favourites are, Nivea Soft, Aloa Vera 99% from Holland and Barret, Aldi night cream and at the moment Origins Ginger range for a treat as it was a Christmas pressie.

The only thing with certain moisturizers and vaseline is because I mainly use them at night (after bath), I hate the sticky or shiny feeling that seems to last for hours afterwards. I find Nivea is just fine (if used properly)

Not every day but when I do I use CeraVe. I have ultra sensitive skin and can't use any mainstream brands without wanting to scratch my face off after 2minutes, this is the only thing I've ever used that doesn't do that to me.

Why would men use it? Its a waste of time cant see why girls even bother not that we notice.

Why is it a waste of time? So if your skin is really dry you'd just carry on when it can be sorted? Moisturizing prevents the skin from being dry and keeps it healthy.

I don't wanna look like a leather handbag when im 65.

I would soon notice if I didn't moisturise. The flaky, dry skin would be visible after a few days of no moisturising and this would soon kick me into shape. It's not about men noticing, it's about me noticing; it's about me being happy with my skin.

I've also noticed since i've started moisturizing practically on a daily basis, that if I were to go a few days without it, I really NEED it. I don't think that's a good thing!
