Why would men use it? Its a waste of time cant see why girls even bother not that we notice.
Oh how can I explain this for you

Could you imagine not preparing your old woodwork and just slapping on a new coat of gloss? That's what make up looks like on a poorly looked after surface. Plus you get the added benefit that if the surface is maintained regularly then less coverage is required.

Does moisturising help your skin age better?

Nope, I have odd skin, a mixture of dry, oily, sensitive so very, very hard to find a cream to suit my skin that doesn't hurt or make it more greasy! Believe me I have tried hard!

When i was a young teenager and i complained to my mum about how bad / greasy my skin was, she would say ' I was exactly the same, you hate it now but when you get to my age you will have no wrinkles!'

Hate to say it, but she's right, she's 65 and doesnt have any wrinkles!

Still, i'd like beautifully clear skin which isnt red and blotchy now :P

My mum is about to turn 65 (1st January!) and has moisturised since the age of 17 using good old Astral and she gets mistaken for a woman in her mid to late 40s all the time so there is something in it! I don't necessarily think it is what you use on your skin - a basic moisturiser or a flashy expensive one, but as long as you use it as regularly as you feel you need it then it might not work miracles but it might help your skin to look and feel healthier.

Simple hydrating lotion for my face every morning. Any body moisturiser occasionally, more so in the summer. Have only done this since my 30's though. Only wash my face with soap and water and have never used foundation. Been lucky enough to have good skin and never suffered spots.

I have combination skin that is very very sensitive. I will find a moisturiser that works and then after a few months, it starts hurting me, giving me rashes etc. I slowly become allergic to them.

The one that works for me at the moment is a Boots number 7 one. It's FANTASTIC. It's called Perfect Balance. I find it's brilliant for mattifying my shiny forehead and nose but also keeps my cheeks from drying out. As long as I use a mattifying primer before putting on my make-up, it keeps me shine-free all day- something I have never had before. Very happy with it.

For my body, I use the Sanctuary body butter- it's gorgeous and keeps my very dry skin soft and smooth. My other half notices if I haven't used it for a day or so, so I know it works when I do use it! I also use their hand cream and foot cream.

For me, Sweet FA, it's the simple fact that alternative would be unbearable! Tight uncomfortable skin after washing, dry patches and so. No thank you!

Well as a man who moisturises I don’t do it for men to notice either (but I fully respect the lifestyle choices of those that do!).

All moisturisers are just emulsified fat so the cheap ones are as good as the expensive ones.

Clinique cleanser, toner and moisturizer for the face. For the body, I'm not fussy - Nivea, Neutrogena, Vaseline Intensive Care, whatever's on offer.
