No but I love them! I always go to see them in Pets At Home - they are always asleep. I think on the sign it basically says you need to get at least two.

Chinchilla's are more akin to owning a rabbit then a Hamster and even then they can be harder work. I haveb't owned one but they I do know they require lots of space. A mutli teer cage and need regular sand baths.
