I think you must have a blind spot where Kelly is concerned - she sang the first part live and then completely mimed the majority of the song...there was even one point towards the end where she "sang live" and nothing came out of the microphone.
Fan or not,that is undeniable. look again at the 3.38 mark

What do you mean the majority of the song? She only mimed a few words then got into the dance break part.

Finally somebody else noticed this. I've been saying her dancing made me lol. Sorry but true.
I dont think she sang it all live if I am honest. Reason being a couple of points during the performance I thought it was clear she wasnt singing live.
The two specific points of the video that prove to me it wasnt 100% live at 1.56seconds (start of second song) she over enunciates and then at 3.41seconds she sings the line but you cant hear her.

You can tell if a part was mimed as it sounds a lot quieter, so it's pretty obvious. But she barely mimed, and it's not fooling anyone, unlike others who record 'live versions' and mime all over that.
OK,everybody accepts that some artists mime when they are supposed to be singing live - whether on TV or in concert.
Now those miming artists have fans,or they wouldn't be famous!
So people need to realise that one of their favourites could be one of those miming artists.
Its nothing personal when people point it out !
I remember when Britney mimed on the X-Factor and people on DS insisted that a singing mic could not be used to answer Dermot's interview - it was laughable.

The point you mention at 1.56 is when the live singing stopped and the pre recorded vocal kicked in.
I also found it hilarious the way the hype suggested she had won all those awards and sold all those records (alone)- but then showbiz has always been bluff and bullshit

I just thought Kelly struggled her way through it. The miming seems to be the norm which is fine but Kelly looked confused as if she had forgotten words ot just couldn't be bothered to mime.
Maybe it looked better from an audience's point of view than it did an aTV viewer.

I didn't think she was miming because it was bad. Even the second half (which did sound better than the first part and is therefor suspect because she was dancing during it) was still pretty bad. If she'd been miming I'm sure it would have been better than that.

Agree with what you say about stage presence, she just doesn't have any. I guess that's what makes someone go to the next level, i.e Beyonce, Lady Gaga etc.
I haven't seen the performance yet but Kelly is a solid performer so I know it will be good. I find it laughable that people are saying that Cheryl was better.

I think it's a bit rude to call another FM a muppet - I'd say they're bang on the money really, you don't even have to watch Kelly to know that she's a million miles better than Cheryl in absolutely every aspect. Cheryl doesn't even bother to sing live most of the time. At least Kelly did. She didn't mime, she just sang over a track and didn't sing some parts, just like Rihanna did the other week.
