Alesha should be given alcohol during the main show. She is very funny when she is drunk.

I loved Alesha in that interview. She's amazingly funny. Especially that scene: "just give me the bottle is amazingly funny. (And she speaks more sense drunk then len and bruce sober.)

I wanted Alan to ask he if she really had a meeting with Simon Cowell when they were selecting the new X Factor panel.

The Daily Mail is none too hot on proofreading, now is it?
Tsk tsk, falling standards a go go. It'll be the fault of immigrants, no doubt. Or single mothers. Or phone masts.

Things kicked off when Bruno accepted Alan's offer of a rosé, quipping 'Oh if you twist my arm', before admitting 'I'm anybodies after two glasses.'
Blimey. That's poor.
She then plunged into jucier terriorty, declaring: 'Everybody is really frisky on the show though, you've got to be honest'
Where did she plunge? Those are pretty poor spelling mistakes for someone who earns a living in the written media.
Alan asped 'This is chat show gold!', frantically grabbing the bottle to refill her glass.
How does one asp, I wonder. Might try it later.
Alan commended her saying 'I can't believe Alesha's become the voice of reason after a whole bottle of win!'
He did say wine, I watched it.
A more bashful Alesha later took to Twitter to excuse ehr uncharacteristic behavious.
To excuse what?

Looks to me like the alleged journalist who wrote that was on the beer with the so called copy editor. Either that or they are both holding down jobs that our cat could do better than them.

It's a snake, isn't it? A popular crossword three-letterer. Could they have meant 'he snaked' i.e. gasped in a rattling way?

Using there when they mean their is sadly the norm for the online DM nowadays. And when they pinch articles from American sites, sometimes they don't even bother editing Them to remove American spellings, so we end up with phrases like "'my mom's neighbor" in a British newspaper.

I didn't watch the interview but it sounds like a good'un - must sky+ it. The Mail article is funny though, asps and bottles of win* notwithstanding!

* - we ought to ask the DM to send crates of these to the England football team

Alesha is very unprofessional to drink before a job and to appear to National TV drunk just shows what she is. Other posters may think it is funny but she is known for her hard drinking nights out - that is fine when it is in the private domain. When I worked anyone consuming alcohol during a paid engagement would have been sacked on the spot. How times have changed and not necessarily for the better.
I'd just like to put a few things straight. As someone who knows Alesha, she is not a hard drinker or party girl. When she does have some free time from her busy schedule, she likes nothing more than relaxing at home. As she doesn't drink alot, when she does participate it goes to her head very quickly and on those few occasion you can bet your bottom dollar someone will take a photo.

She still is extremely unprofessional to swig a bottle of wine on "air" but because she "doesn't drink a lot" I suppose that is okay is it? She may have been funny but it was extremely embarrassing to watch someone get that drunk but because she is the Darling of the BBC she won't get reprimanded. I remember a lovely weather forecaster being sacked for saying "There was a force 10 gales off the Hee-brides". Makes you think - rules for the pet and rules for the non-pet.

Since she was was on national tv at the time it seems odd that she would pick that occasion to pour booze down her throat if it is such an alien experience to her. She's not a naive kid but a grown woman in her 30's.

Why are you targeting Alesha when they were all drinking? And as I have said previously westlife drank a nearly a whole bottle of aftershock, you seem to be targeting Alesha and ignoring the fact they were all drinking and Bruno mixed different drinks aswell. And again I've seen Kylie have a few drinks aswell as lady gaga, are they all the same then? Westlife were quite drunk and rowdy and if I can recall correctly there have been a few others.

I was responding to this thread and that was about Alesha. Yes, Kimmiangel, you are quite right they are all unprofessional to pour booze down their throats when they are on "air" and get plastered or appear on set after drinking too much alcohol. George Best was often rat-arsed - and look what happened to him. Glamorising alcohol is not very clever, is it - but the media seem to think it is?
