hi there, tried to switch on my Humax foxsat this morning but it did not respond to the remote, re-booted it via the back switch, no joy, then tried the 'on' switch at the front, it worked but the remote still wouldn't control it, changed the batteries and it still didn't work, puzzeled to say the least.
Any idea what the problem is?

Yes, I must have pressed one of the function buttons in my beer haze last night, its now working.
