Normally I wouldn't have been happy with her working with Calvin Harris but We Found Love is one of the best songs I've heard in years so I hope they have done something of the same calibre.

NiN/Johnny Cash version of the song is raw, just like Run was. With Leona smooth vocals and rearranged vocal lines it could potentially be huge.

Agreed, Hurt will have to be spruced up a bit for it to come across as, dare I say, 'not boring' when it is performed live. Really hope we get to hear snippets from these three tracks in the next couple of days, I need some joy in my life right now - too many essay deadlines.

I guess the person was referring to the covers. I looked up the term on Youtube and it says that "Songbird" is a tool which helps you to play music.

As far as the 'songbird' thing is concerned, the blogger said it was for the album, not the EP, and that it was an original song.

been reading alot of negative stuff on other forums... people seem to think because this is a covers EP leona has no control and is just a puppet...

i actually think she has more say than those people think... mainly because 'iris' is on the EP... i think leona chose the other 2 songs and as a compromise with syco, also recorded iris... just to give them some comfort that they have a song they know will be a hit with xfactor viewers, just in case the other songs dont shift the EP! good on her for doing a couple of less well known songs... i think she could turn them into real leona classics
